To the OP's credit, it seems the compilation was originally his.
I had no idea someone had posted it on here previously... thanks though to DC for quoting me on it.

Either way, I think it's a rule they should have in 2k if they're not going to give us the choice to have user-controlled bounce passing.
As was said in order for the violation to occur you have to intentionally kick the ball meaning the only way to really incorporate this into the game is to give players the ability to kick the ball. I doubt this will happen.

Yes I know but my point is that if 2k will not give us control over what type of passing we make (i.e. bounce pass, lob etc etc) then there should be something in place (kick ball violation) for when those horrible, unwanted bounce passes are made ending up as turnovers because the ball gets kicked loose.

My point is that a kick ball violation seems like one of those David Stern "it's in our game, but we don't want it in our game" sort of infractions. I have no evidence of this, but it just seems like this would be the case.

some feel the the kick ball thing is a technicality but i dont think it is. there are instances where youre throwing a bounce pass and the defender runs into the passing lane and the ball hits his foot. thats a kick ball. the game obviously overcalls goaltending, but i had a freak occurrence over two days this past week in two games where three balls were sitting on the rim or in the cylinder and a defender came over and swatted it away from the rim with no call. i dont think it fell under the circumstances the OP was referring to, but i was flabbergasted.

It sort of falls into this...

NBA: You may not block a shot from underneath/through the hoop, this is goaltending.
2K9: I have seen this action occur from time to time in 2k9 without any penalization, though it isn't an everyday occurrence (thank god). Still though, fix this for 2k10.
It was meant to cover any shots which are blatant goaltends but end up as no-calls.
