Here is one no one has mentioned. Raja Bell. Picked him up for about 800k a year and he has been great. Hit's open shots, plays great D. You can't ask for much more than that from a backup who can defend at SG or SF. After 11 games he has hit 12/27 threes also.

I've also had great luck with Marcus Camby. He's not that expensive and he blocks shots like crazy and can erase mistakes in the paint by changing shots as well. He can hit out to 20 feet with surprising accuracy. If you have enough offense at the other 4 positions, he'll get you 10 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, couple steals, and help your defense.

I'm loving that i picked up Ronny Turiaf, good rebounder and shot blocker. His post D can be decent, but overall is high energy off the bench guys who can easily be plugged into an offense if there is an injury or foul trouble with the front court.

Pargo is a very quick and great shooting backup PG. I have Brandon Jennings starting for my team and run a full court press when i am down like 10+ points. Lets just say a combo of Pargo and Jennings easily tires out an opposing teams ball handlers.

Josh Powell can be counted on for some rebounds too if you need some

I'll break it down by position. I think most people like really young players they can develop or really old guys that they can pick up cheaply for 1 year stints. I try to keep the middle of the pack guys out unless I really like them. I'll add to this list as I play more.

        Point Guard
        Brandon Jennings - Beast
Russell Westbrook - Athletic, good defender.
Steve Francis - Good back up PG if you need one, almost always available so if you're thin on the PG position, pick him up.

        Shooting Guard
J.R. Smith - A beast. Very athletic, lightning fast release, great offensive weapon overall.
Thabo Sefolosha - Good defender, athletic. Great complimentary guy to have and just fills out the stat sheet.
Gerald Green - Basically a cheaper Gerald Green with a better looking release.
        EDIT - i mean J.R. Smith

        Small Forward
Kyle Korver - My favorite shooter in the game. I think it's a matter of preference with who you like as your designated shooter. I mastered Korver and Wally's release but Wally's release is so ugly so I like Korver more.

        Power Forward
Carl Landry - Strong finisher, quite athletic, great rebounder.
Chuck Hayes - Defensive beast, Is a rebounding machine at his height... But not much offensive game.

        Center
Javale McGee - Great Center to try and develop. Size + Athleticism.

          Brandon Bass

he's not that kind of guy scoring 30 points on you, but he is very consistent.
Very good all-around player and quicker than most PF's C's

Right now im avaraging 10ppg 5rpg 1spg and 1 bpg (off the bench in 22 minutes of action)

Javale McGee is probably one of the better young centers to try and develop. He's going to need EXTREME help on his hands rating, drops/misses a lot of quick passes, but he's a GREAT rebounder and defender and can clean up on putbacks like a beast.

Nick Young, dude can just flat out fill it up in any way you need. He's an average defender on defense, and if you can improve him in that area than he will be a stud.

Randy Foye, he's a poor mans Gilbert Arenas. Can play the 1 or 2, can score any way you want him to. Plays solid D, and has a nose for rebounds.
Do you think Washington would realistically give up McGee via trade, say for Tayshaun Prince and Kwame Brown. . .or Richard Hamilton? Washington seems relatively set in their backcourt so I'm thinking not, but does anyone have any ideas what kind of big I might be able to acquire for a Prince/Brown package to gain a low post presence in Detroit? I was thinking Chris Kaman but now I'm not sure because I don't think he'd look cool enough in my uniforms.

Other bigs I like are Andray Blatche and DeAndre Jordan.

This thread is wonders for me, using nogs rosters, playing as the bucks makes me want to cry, Jennings is still a 66, I'm trying to develop him but Redd, Bogut and Warrick aren't living up to their expectations.
