I am pretty positive that I have read some posts where people said that they have seen cpu bigs jacking up 3's an a quick game, not just association. I really, really hope that I'm wrong b/c quick games are all I play...but I know that I read that in the other thread.

I'm sure the next roster update will fix it, but what about the community roster projects that are much better than 2k's? those will probably have to be edited tendency wise all over again. hopefully not. hopefully 360 doesn't have this problem.

^^There's nothing roster updates can do to fix this I believe. People have already said they butchered the settings and tendencies to no avail.

Out of curiosity, what kind of affect does turning off player roles have on the 2010 free agent class?

This is complete BS. I had such a nice Association going for the longest I ever had so far in this game, and this happens. I have to re-start now because I just can't take these unrealistic stats, seriously blows. But to recap, turning player roles OFF when starting a new Association will fix this issue?

yes this is going back on nba2k9 when i turn off player roles for some reason the rotation minutes got mess up but since you can control all 30 teams im going to test it and report back the neg of turning player roles off.

yeah you can always control all 30 teams, but I will warn you that if you allow injuries, it takes a significant amount of time to constantly revamp rotations for every injury. Furthermore, they will only tell you some of the time when guys heal, so about once a week you have to roll through the rosters and find out who has healed and itsn't playing. Of course with player roles off you don't have to worry about guys getting angry about not playing after healing like before, but you still want to check it. It is a significant commitment, but I make it because I think the CPU does such a horrible job setting minutes in rotations (giving starters way too many minutes)

man, this just doesn't make sense that player roles would have anything to do with this. i mean, how would this alter their 3pt and very deep 2pt shooting. this is really no good.

As we know this glitch is not about big men, this is about tendencies and/or ratings combined with Player Roles. In my few testing simulations with player roles on I've found out, that Shane Battier has the fewest 3PA among the players who average over 30 mpg. I tried to give some his attributes to other players, but couldn't find the one that influences the 3PA the most (other than overall shot tendency). I did notice that he had all "various shots" at 0. Maybe it's Alley-Oops tendency or something else that is causing this. The again it can be various other sliders reversed, skewed, etc.

I'm trying to look into this, anyone else can give a try too, maybe this still can be sorted out by roster edits. Then again, that would mean that we would probably need different rosters for playing online/exhibition and association/my player.
