    -more team styles... when i play the warriors i wanna see run and gun... all teams play alike now

    -more explosiveness from guards when driving... its easy to get to the rim but the animations suck

    -bring back FAKE passing... i wanna work the ball around and throw in some fake passes here and there to get the D out of position

      I asked that after you made a comment about denying the ball. I didnt want to go through a long explanation to someone who has played organized ball when i could give a quicker one to someone who has. So i asked if u had. You got offended. But it is what it is.

          -The NBA vertical rule that says that when vertical in the air and maintaining position you will not be called for a foul when challenging the shot. Changing the 'hands-up' animation to left analog click would allow people to put their hands up, and follow that with a simple press of the jump button. Doing the above while pressing 'aggressive' and jump would cancel out the smaller likelihood and give a different animation. The higher the D awareness, the smaller the chance of a foul.

          -Increase the space between the defender and the ball handler, the are often face to face even when the offensive player is squared to the rim.

            I agree with the overall sentiment that the game needs to feel more explosive. Hopefully the creative people at 2k can find a way to make movement feel quick, responsive, and explosive without making the offense too powerful.

            My wish list for 2k11:
            • Realistic FG% out of the box, no sliders needed
            • Can't throw passes into the paint all day
            • Can't drive into the paint all day
            • The game needs to FORCE you to shoot jump shots. It shouldn't be a matter of choosing to play "sim" or "cheese." The game should be designed so playing at least a little sim is required. I feel like Live is moving in that direction.
            • Take the players off their invisible skates

              I think there's a bit of a "heavy" feeling while playing 2K10. By heavy, I mean that when you move/pass/shoot - it feels kinda like a process that takes some time/effort for the CPU to perform. I play the PC version so I'm not sure if it's the same on the console versions (and my PC is great for the game, so that's not the problem). I mean, The game doesn't feel smooth enough for me, and therefore not as responsive as it should be. At least that's the way I see it.

              RAM: 48 KB
              OS: Sinclair BASIC

                There are alot of defensive fundamentals missing from the game.

                It makes you think it was made by game developers who only know the basics of basketball.

                The first thing that comes to my mind when thinking about this is the way the computer plays defense. They are way too close. You don't play D by trying to stick to every move the offensive player makes, you anticipate where they are gonna go and move diagonally backwards to cut them off. That's the way I play ball any way.

                In real life if you bump the offensive player continuously that would be a blocking foul.

                It's too hard to use the best weapon we have against lead passing into the paint too, the right stick. It's possible, but super hard to grab the pick setter out of the pick and roll to cut him off from the lane. And truthfully the defense should try to do that by default(especially when the player guarding the player moving through the pick goes over the screen).

                When you go under the screen the computer behaves right for me, because I cut off the lane when I go under, it's going over that needs tweaking.

                  Triple threat is only a double threat because you're not beating anyone to the basket out of it. The first move is FAR too slow.

                  It should be possible to step behind the 3 point line without feeling like you have to fight the controller to do so.

                  Several players need a signature jump shot that isn't a SET shot that they only take when they're wide open. I mean CP3 doesn't barely jump when taking a midrange J. He only does that when he's wide open. Also, the drifting type shots should be tied to momentum, not the shot stick. It's too unintuitive to use in the game itself for me.

                  And if I see another fastbreak get stopped because someone faster than my player ran infront of him and stopped my momentum, I'm gonna drive up to wherever the 2K sports studio is and ask if they know what blocking foul really is.

                    all i wanna see is a gameplay that u cannot cheese with (like fifa 10)

                    a gameplay where the guy who play the best ball game can not lose against a one trick donkey.

                    i really have no idea how to do that but that's what i want.

                      let's add to this...whatever happened to the jab step / pull up jumper in rhythm?? this is constantly done in the nba and you can't do this in the game. there is NO flow whatsoever.

                        Like if we do a jab step and hold the left stick at that position, it shouldn't repeat, the player should hold that foot.

                              1.fix charges especially when ballhandler is WALKING up the court.

                              2. fix layup glitch where no matter how many defenders surround ballhandler, as long as he is in the circle underneath the basket its auto score. this is abused way to much online

                              3. Make fatigue matter, in 2k9 players would slow down or would layup instead of dunk and they would miss more shots if too tired, in 2k10 it seems fatigue dont mean a thing

                              4.Basline line layup animaitons need to be fixed or removed and lead passing needs to be taken away. Lead passing should be made when the user attempts a icon directional pass instead.

                              5. More foul calls when defenders ride your back up the court. better yet GET RID OF THE ANIMATION its a clear foul call in the nba.

                              6. Manual jumpshot releases, cant stress that enough.
