Your talking about doing the moves. I think its easier on the mind/thought process (in 2k cam). You know when someone is facing you. You say "point to your left" (as you point to your left). The person is most likely point in the same direction as you. Even though you said point to your left. Know what I mean? I mean it seems like some people have trained themselves to counter act when the player is facing you. I think its too much....thinking. While in 2k cam its a natural left to right or up and down (in context to the player facing the same way as you are facing).

Yes...this is probably the easiest way to go and i really do see why you like the 2k cam which is what i thought pretty much all along....i can play either way it doesnt really matter i just prefer broadcast / side view as opposed to the uglier 2k view. Really for me its not that hard differentiate the two but i guess for others its hard....my hate for the 2k cam came in when the years when the dam camera took like 3 seconds to spin around when possession changed..Wack

Thanks for the insult but no im probably older than you....I understand YOU have to think of using that view in terms of equating that to how you would do your moves in real life but as a long time real life and video game basketball player its very simple for me to play in the side view as i have been playing since the Live , NBA shootout days and even before that the Atari where everyone mostly used side view. Really its not that hard to understand your not as skilled playing with the broadcast view i really do get it....sorry if the truth hurts

Your trying to erase what you been saying for the last few pages now. You main argument has been "full court passes". That's all I hear you say.

I've mentioned about 5 times now that. Those full court passes that your complaining about. Do not exist anymore. In 2k10 if you threw a long passes with a bad rated passer (big men). Your mostly like going to throw it in the sits. This year just from the demo you see huge improvements on the long passing logic. Especially with new booble animations (gives the defense time to catch up) and many other improvements.

So please stop with the "long passes", "cheese view" and "no skills" comments.

Also sorry about the insult. That's not my style. But when I repeat myself a few times. I have to start questioning you age. Again sorry.

It depends on what system I'm playing. If I'm playing for PC I play on broadcast because for some reason when I play on PC I nitpick so much about the visuals. I want it to look as close as possible to an actual NBA broadcast.

On the console version I tend to go with 2k cam because if I'm playing online I usually do everything on one side of the court unless I'm passing the ball off to a open shooter out in the corner. Really easy to pick up on if you're someone who picks up tendencies.

I picked up on this in 1998. NBA Live was the game. I told my friends. They didn't believe me then. Now I just force them to the bad side of the court (when playing online) lol.

No problem man ...but really it is a lack of skill if you think the braodcast cam is harder to play for you in. Like the one guy said some people dont have to think in the terms u think in they process the information on the screen and act accordingly. If you've played any of the PS one basketball games playing on the side view would probably not be an issue for you. Now football is a whole diff story for me

You see your locked into the Live days....instead of moving forward. I bet 20 to 1 if you made the change to the 2k view. Your game would improve at least 5-10 times then it is right now. Defensively and Offensively performance....

Nah ...i can play on both i just prefer not to want to look at the ugly 2k view while im playing...i dont need the game to be easier for me but if thats your cup of tea im not knocking you. Sorry if i came off the wrong way thats just how i see it. And seriously it has nothing to do with me being locked in Live days thats how i have always played NBA games wether it was shootout, nba fastbreak, in the zone, or the first Atari basketball game OR 2K so really side view is really very very easy to use IMO. Only benefits for me i can possibly see with using the 2k cam is to see all the way down court for either fullcourt passes or to see defensively whos down court already because in the default view you can see far enough down court to start a break w/o the cheese possibility (not saying you do this)

and i get tired of cats thinking that real life basketball has to equate with the movement of the joystick for iso motion....i see the poitn but some people dont have to use that logic. Its almost like they are saying they cant count in their heads they have to use fingers to add

It's all good. People have differences in preferences and I believe folks should play the game the way they get the most enjoyment.

If it's all about stick skills and iso: good
If it's all about running plays and strategy: good

2K gives us all these options for a reason!
