How do you delete player progression file

I read in the patch thread you must delete the player progression file but i looked in the delete file option and no player progression file is present.

That's odd. I bought 2K11 on day one and saved all my files, including player progression. So I just went to (something like) OPTIONS--> LOAD/SAVE--> DELETE, then chose the player progression file to delete--worked for me. Or I guess you could delete it from Saved Data Utility...

I deleted everything related to NBA 2k11 except for the game install and the player progression was working perfectly. Now for some reason, it isn't working anymore. Also, the 2K Insider blog has been empty since like the first week of the season. Is this simply a 2k server thing?

If you're on Xbox, delete the file from the dashboard. Then when you start up the game again it will auto-save the new player progression file. If you don't have auto-save on, turn it on and save your settings, then leave the game and start it back up.

On PS3 you go over Saved Data Utility when you you're not when you don't have a game on. Then just scroll down til you see the option, it'll be under one of the 2K11 files.

When you first start the game and all your files are being loaded (settings, user profile, etc.) it will download/overwrite the file as long as you're signed in.

Thanks. Do you have to have autosave on? It didnt work.

This should work for PS3 as well. Just make sure you delete the file outside of the game.

Yeah, after reading your post, I backed out of the game, logged in, and then re-accessed the game. When it went through all the loading steps (I didnt see if it was successful on all of them), I then closed the game and went back into the systms file where I had deleted the progression file. There was nothing there for a progression file.

Is the Living Rosters featured turned on in load/save options? Try going to quick game and select retrieve living rosters.

No, I have both living rosters and quick save off. Living rosters screws up my created teams, so I have it off.

Would the progression file be created out of an association mode when it progression would be occuring? Where Im at in my association is in the offseason mode, so progression isnt really even occurring.
