Excellent news. I remember I ended up with a PG with the #1 pick that led my Bucks to an NBA Title as a rookie and a SG named Colin Duncan that was just a beastly scorer lol

The point guard was probably Anthony Stallworth. I remember making him and saying that whoever gets that guy is going to be a happy camper. And I totally remember making Colin Duncan! I didn't know he would turn out to be such a beast lol.

Nah, definitely wasn't Stallworth. The PG was in the same class as Duncan. I had the top 2 picks (controlling the Bucks and Celtics) and the Bucks got the PG and the Celtics got Duncan. I wanna say the PG's last name was Webster or something, but I'm not positive.

Dang, must be someone I forgot about lol. Well, these classes I got coming should give you some players to have fun with. I suggest you not look at the potential ratings when you download. There's some bust in there but I'm telling you.... if you do your scouting you can find some worth while ballers outside the loattery. I'm not going to spoil it by giving out the name, but there is a point guard in there who averaged 20 points, 8 boards and 8 assists 3 years in a row when I did my simulation tests. And he is NOT projected to go in the top 5 lol.

            Sick.

And I just remembered. His name was Alexander Webster. Averaged like 25, 7, and 8 on his way to an NBA Finals MVP.

Ahhhh, I do remember Webster. I had originally named him Stallworth and changed his name at the last minute before I uploaded. Dude was a straight beast. Glad you got a chance to play with him man.

How many draft classes did you end up doing in 2k11?

I think I uploaded six last year. I'm certain that I will do more than that this year.

Interesting. Because with 2K11 I was only able to use 6 custom draft classes in an Association. When I tried to load a 7th one, the game would freeze (the PC version would crash). And by custom draft classes, I mean the ones you create outside of the Association and save, not the ones you create at the beginning of an Association season.

Yup, you are absolutely right. I posted something about it last year but I guess it wasn't really looked at as a big problem. The year before that it was even less. I'm reallllllly hoping that we can do an unlimited amount without the game freezing man. That was killer for me cause I got sick of editing the draft classes at the beginning of each year after the sixth season.

Man I live creating draft classes. You can have two 68 OVR players come out and one could potentially gain +20 pts in OVR while the other stays a 68 for his career!

Just wish 2k took advantage of their progression system in their draft glasses (potential isn't stretched)

Anyways, I think progression could use a little tweaking because it seems as if production doesn't gave an affect anymore unlike 2k10, reason I say this is because I took a player 2k generated (43 OVR 60 Pot) and gave him a pot rating of 99. Needless to say he gained +20 pts in OVR before he retired dispite plating less than 10 mpg and shooting just 22%...

He did play in ALL 82 games each season of his career tho (expect the 2 years in the NBDL) so maybe played games is factored in and if that is true then 2k really needs to fix rotation minutes...

Agreed, 30 controlled teams with set rotations (hum handled) should not allow for the PC to overrule your rotations and give mins to players without any imput ... if injuries are on, it should redistribute the remaining mins of the injured player within the on going game, considering the already set rotation and %s that each player with a set number is supposed to play ... once that game is finished, you should be noticed about manually redistributing the rotation minutes available due to the injury. Also we need to regain the integral translation of rotation and player roles edits from the main roster used for starting the association.

Hopefully is patched, thus I doubt.

Also agree on the inconsistency of the progression system, sometimes players with close to no significant playing time gain outrageous gains in overall. They need to tune this.

They also need to strictly relate the picks trade value to the value of the players that compose that year draftclass, so if a draftclass is weak so is the value of the picks and visceversa.

AI trades logic should really consider team roster needs and there should be a set limit of time to see the results of a given team mood (2-4-6 years for rebuilding, contending, etc).

Finally, they need to let us edit everything, team moods (contender, rebuilding), team starting chemestry, players goals (after winning, after money, after playing time) ... everything ... 2k editability is a signature brand of 2ks franchise, yet the must underrated feature by the devs ... having such increased options allow us to adjust the game to our own perception of an accurate NBA experience, therefor, decreasing the number of unsatisfied costumers with subjective matters.

One thing I always wondered was if players gained more boost in attributes related to their play style. For example, if I had a 3pt specialist, would he progress more in 3pt shot than close shot or are the points equally distributed? (80 3pt +2, 60 close +2)
