I'm not really feeling it either. It's not horrible but it takes a step away from real broadcast rather than towards. At least the player poses look good but the layout looks more rap/video game/card capture game than TNT. Does it have anything to do with Jay-Z being a producer and directing the presentation?

I also don't get the shield motif in swipes and overlays. What about a shield says NBA? It doesn't look bad in the swipe but I don't want to see it everywhere. Is this Jay-Z trolling us all and sneaking in the Nets logo into everything?

There are music equalizer bars and giant speakers behind the images of the players at the beginning of the video when it shows the starting lineup for each team, and in the video MostlyChilly linked to that shows the replay swipes there are giant microphones. So basically everything I feared about Jay-Z's involvement has been true. What a ****ing joke!

I was worried the game might be no fun until I saw the fadeaway 3 from Lebron in the corner.

Just sealed the deal on my pre-order!

Coincidentally, that's when I stopped the video because I can already see people doing that all day online with default settings on

cmon now. Do you not think that this is not on rookie or tuned so that players can have fun with the game. Thats like watching one of the madden videos on RB ratings and getting disgusted because Ray Rice is breaking every tackle

I loved the dribbling as well it seemed much more effective in this video .

I have one question that maybe some can answer. 2K11 was the first 2K basketball game I played since the first one on Xbox. I still think its the best baketball game to date. I thought 2K11's player models were a bit bigger than in 2K12.

I didn't play 12 long. Compared to what the videos have shown, do you think they went back to those models?

Okay I liked what I saw from this video, but... I'm an accessory guy as well.

LeBron James wearing a black sleeve on the home floor is not a good sign. No home and road accessories still from the looks of it, for like the millionth year in a row smh. His headband looks on point though. KD has black knee pads but they are on the road so that's expected. Hopefully there's still time to input a home/road accessory type ordeal.

100% agree. I would much rather have the game much of a Espn/NBA tv type of feel to it. I wouldnt go so far as to call it a joke but the music style is nott cup of Tea.

Game looks pretty good so far, or at least from what I could see. It was kinda like watching a game on the surface of the sun, I had to pop 2 Advil afterwards. There were definitely a few super unpolished looking moments, with players morphing through one another and so forth, but hopefully that'll all be cleaned up. It also seemed like there were too many shots going in, which is one of my biggest gripes with 2k games in the past. I know you can adjust the sliders, but I'm tired of having to figure that out each year.

All in all I'm most likely still gonna get it. Just watching the analog dribble in action was like seeing an old, dear friend again.

The wipes didn't look like the worst thing in the world but it's not really an improvement ambience wise, especially given their focus on broadcast presentation the last few years. It doesn't really say basketball to me and the bling is going in a weird slightly non-sensical direction with Jay-Z putting his "fingerprints" where it's neither wanted or needed.

I hope they didn't pay Jay-Z anything, because that money should have gone to Pippen.

I just read the gamescon video threads from last year

Its the same thing as far as bashing players controlling the game

These guys just dont play well and basketball is not as big in Germany

I dont expect to see them playing sim or trying to show the smoothnes of the game from here...just not gonna happen
