I made a thread talking about 2k's lack of information about OA. And that their silence is making me sceptical that they fixed the problems in OA. I was told info would be released in sept. But here we are 5 days from release, and no info ond OA for 2k13.

So VERY grateful to hear that LD is working hard to get us some insight into Association mode this year. I can completely understand that you must be under enormous pressure and have a lot on your plate - I'm just glad to know you're here listening to the community and are willing to spend time on a game mode that 2KSports does not have as a chief marketing strategy (if it was, it would have been talked about weeks ago).

Honestly, I will be THRILLED if even just ONE of the issues from past 2K's association mode have been fixed. In fact, I will probably cry tears of unrivaled joy...

Ahem...anyways...

With that being said, what I plan on doing as soon as the game is released (and as soon as I can play around with the game mode), is to create a thread here on OS on how to maximize your Association experience. It will include:
1) The issues/glitches that have been fixed in this year's game that we no longer have to adjust
2) The issues/glitches that have NOT been fixed
3) Adjustments to make (either to the roster, your CAPs/draft classes, etc.) to create a better, more enjoyable game mode

I'm looking into making it a collaborative effort - and hopefully it's something that becomes a sticky. Whether or not you're on 360 or PS3, I want everyone chiming in that is serious about association mode. The point of the thread, also - is NOT to be a cry fest where we b*tch and moan about what's wrong. Instead, it's meant to be a constructive effort to simply make the franchise mode as enjoyable as possible.

I remember last year on the PS3 side with Bedwards roster, we were able to really try out a TON of fun ideas while working around some of the headaches. I want the same thing this year - and I want it to be bigger in scope - so that ALL of us who are playing association mode will feel included and will have access to information that can make a HUGE difference to your association mode.

Anyways, I'm done brainstorming - just throwing that out there for you guys - be looking for this thread around Oct 3rd.

They did improve association not as much but it is vary different from 2k12.
