I thought this was already mentioned here, but I guess it hasn't now that I'm looking back through the thread.
We were expecting to be done in the first week of December, but that has been pushed back for a few reasons.
Reason #1 being the fact that the hard work we're doing needs to be completed with the same care and precision that we've been taking for the past few weeks. I don't believe in half-assed work (and from my experience, neither does ronyell) and you all shouldn't expect half-assed work. I've already logged over 50 hours of editing on top of countless hours of data entry, watching NBA/NCAA footage, creating formulas, refining scales, and game testing. We'll probably have a combined 200+ man hours of work on this file by the time it is released.
Reason #2 is that the end of the lockout means that we can actually handle the real life transactions prior to Opening Day to get a true association-ready roster completed. This is a huge deal as far as I'm concerned since we don't plan on releasing new "versions" of these rosters until REDitor is ready.
Hope you all understand and can hold off for a while longer. The amount of editing that has gone into this roster is beyond words and you can't really appreciate it until you go into the file and look for yourselves.
I'm considering getting a video capture device so people can get some sneak previews in CPU/CPU spectator mode that people can compare to the default rosters or whatever rosters you may be using at the moment. Might also take some videos to dispel the myths and "issues" that people swear can't be fixed in the game.

I might get crucified for saying this but take all the time u need. I'm 100% sure this rosters/sliders will be worth the wait.
I suggest you guys release this project on December 25, along with the real season tip-off. that way we can all watch pre-season games and see players accessories. Also player movements.

Can't speak for the others, but things are going well during the "calm before the storm". My eyes are bleeding from seeing the Edit Player screen and I see the Scrimmage Mode court in my dreams .
The next few weeks are going to be crazy though with all of the roster changes and the patch coming out.

I know exactly how you feel. I had that feeling a few weeks ago. Now doing some touch up now that they have the Real Rookies. It is like a never ending job. LOL

all will be worth the wait.... think "early Christmas gift". Hopefully a lil sooner but COMPLETE-NESS is the main objective & we still have until Christmas day for the start of the season SO hopefully the start of our 2k season while be right in line
