Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Well i'mma add my two cents since I haven't posted in forever lol. Being a laker fan... yes you right. He could of asked more. I do agree with that point. But we also gotta look at things from the player side. The nba makes BILLIONS. Owners making hundreds of millions. Has anyone ever asked asked owner to cut back or take less? The point that kobe stresses is that players are perceived to be selfish for not taking pay cuts and ppl say they should be "privileged" to make what they do. Society... some ppl... view them as selfish. On face value yes I can rock with that. But it's not the players responsibility to take cuts when and save owners money when they don't do the same. kobe is well worth that money and some for box office value alone. He can sellout arenas off his name alone. And yes I know i didn't touch caps... thats a whole other issue lolComment

Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Well then don't say all you want to do is win titles and then be one of the reasons you can't. The Lakers are screwed from top to bottom. But he's one of the reasons they are. You can be all about the players and all that but if you want to have a good team you have to make sacrifices. When he signed that contract he basically threw being surrounded by enough players to win out of the door. Even if they would've resigned pau gasol that still wouldn't have been enough to win. Kobe is rich. The stars of the league have money. Tim Duncan doesn't make as much as Kobe but he still makes a lot of money and he has a good team. Same with dirk. They sacrificed some money and have a better chance to win for it. That's what being about titles is about. Tom Brady did the same thing with the patriots. He took less money and his team is constantly competitive.Well i'mma add my two cents since I haven't posted in forever lol. Being a laker fan... yes you right. He could of asked more. All good and fair points. But that's a choice. We can't sit here and say a player getting what he deserves is wrong. And let's be real... the Lakers weren't signing anyone note worthy this offseason. Despite what contract kobe got. And what is a constant that all 3 of those players you mentioned have... a solid foundation and coach. Kobe doesn't have that continuity there in place. Again I'm not saying you wrong because I agree. But at the same time I can't fault Kobe for getting what he is worth. I just dont think it's fair to the players that owners and what they bring in a year is ever brought into question. This is why I hope they eliminate cap spaces. It would kill all the problems with players getting too high of contracts.Well then don't say all you want to do is win titles and then be one of the reasons you can't. Agreed. It's busses fault y'all don't have a good coach. He had one of the greatest coaches ever in his hand but basically went with an offensive coordinator. Until y'all stop him from running the show I don't see y'all getting better. All good and fair points. But that's a choice. We can't sit here and say a player getting what he deserves is wrong. Re: MyTeam Mobile Discussion
Did you hear Jeanie on first take? She basically said if she wanted to overrule them she could. She just thinks they have more knowledge of the game than she does...I was like what?!?! Said she wanted Phil but her brother didn't vision the team being run like they should be by him.... if you haven't heard it it's pretty interesting to hear her talk about the state of the LakersComment
