Actually it is not. My son purchased a super mega pack or whatever it's called without permission. Would I have let it slide normally? Sure.

You can choose whatever option in requesting a refund you want and it will most likely get approved, there are many unscrupulous companies putting out apps and Google and Apple know this. CD is just another on a long list.

It's amazing how people can complain about what a terrible thing they did by nerfing the rewards. But then turn around and do something just as terrible.

There is a certain numbers of refunds without double-checking.
After a certain number you will get a message at the stage of buying, that you are not able to refund it anymore.

Just saw in some articles, when I was looking for solutions to get my money back

That being said, I am assuming super rares are now on the draft board?

            Thanks for the answer!

The funny thing is that NWGD has already gone on the record stating that they have already blown away last year's revenue numbers.

I'm ALL for CD making a profit (as evidenced by looking at almost any of my previous posts), but it seems like it doesn't make a ton of sense to piss off your user base that is giving you record setting revenues.

I'm not speaking to your situation specifically, I'm talking about the idea of everyone going and doing it just to spite CD. People have a right to be angry. They have a right to voice their opinions, and even do it loudly. Hell, they definitely have a right to take their business elsewhere. What they don't have a right to do is commit an act of fraud as payback.

I'm hoping we all continue to voice our opinions - loudly - until we are heard, but I hope we do it civilly and legally. Also, no shots at NWGameDad himself. He's a guy trying to do a job.

No, it is not fraud to request refunds through Apple and google's approved channels and it is ridiculous to incenuate that it is.

No one is saying hey guys go buy $1000 of credits then make up fake reasons to get those credits for free!

It's your right to request a refund, and apple and googles right to assess those requests as they choose.

Getting refunds and money returns is a legal right (at least in Germany).
Furthermore I am allowed to return without any reason, I actually gave them one.

Would be the same if you buy something @Amazon or any other dealer.

You're not returning anything, you're asking for a refund without returning the good or service you originally purchased. I don't know the laws in Germany, but in other places that can be illegal if it is done on false premises. Again, I'm speaking in general, not about any one person specifically.

It's absolutely anyone's right to request a refund. It starts being fraud when you make up phony reasons like "my dog rubbed his paw on my phone" or "my 3 year old bought all those MVP Packs".

                          Ehhhh....

NWGD is Senior Producer. He is a decision maker. He's also the guy that decides to continually insult his customer base with half-truths, misdirections, bold faced lies, and evasion tactics, instead of being straight with people. I'm sorry, but I don't have a ton of respect for that.

When I respectfully bring up the issue of card stats, and say " hey.. Offense is over powered " and he says "Nope. We have checked the numbers, and it's just your imagination", I take that as an insult. He's ignoring me (rude), lying to me (either the stats weren't checked, or the findings he reports aren't real.. It HAS to be one or the other. Simple reality dictates this), then insulting me by running such obvious BS by me; he doesn't show me the respect of a discerning adult, able to count, and figure out real from fake. It's all very insulting.

The mood around here didn't used to be so venomous towards NWGD, even when CD was up to some nonsense. People generally thought he was a good guy, and would certainly not go as far as to call him a liar. He's lost a TON of goodwill by treating us as children, being dismissive, and DEFINITELY being duplicitous, if not out-and-out deceitful at times.

There is no way to return the goods in question. It is your legal right to request a refund. Period. Will my account get banned as a result? Probably. Do I care? No. Am I happy that Apple has good customer support? Yes.

Good customer support = giving back people's money, when they don't really have any good reason

Apple just doesn't care to be bothered with investigating you for the paltry amount of money you're requesting. That doesn't make what you're doing cool in any way really... but there's no point continuing this discussion. Any grown person who would do this is beyond trying to reason with.

That is actually part of the game - to be honest it is not a fair move. And I know that, but if that is the only option left. I will go for it.
I am not willing to support a company like this, as simple as that. I see virtual currency always as a option to support a company.

And after this update I don´t see any reason to do this anymore. So far it is only unreal and me, that is a drop in the ocean.
But at least it is a statement maybe it will work. Maybe not ...

I do have rights as a customer and I use them. Even if it is not 100% morally arguable
