I'm not arguing that. What I'm saying is the validity of the statement that star contracts would fall accordingly like vet contracts, yet it seems like that statement has been renigged on. Also I hardly doubt this would affect the economy of the game since we're dealing with such a small subset of people who actually win the good agent perk. Of course it's not given out like candy. You have to bust your *** for days straight to get into that subset of people who acquire the good agent perk. The least CD could do was reward them accordingly. Yes we do get individual rewards but it was you guys who introduced the team rewards and led us to believe what was capable and what was not. All I'm saying is that it doesn't sound like you're standing by your original intentions. But I digress, it's your game and you can do whatever you deem necessary.

I'm not sure how we're renigging on our original promise. Star Contracts during Good Agent will drop at Veteran Contract rates. There was a bug in Veteran Contract drop rates though which made them drop too frequently. We fixed the bug so you will see Veteran Contracts drop less frequently from the board. That means you will see a decrease in Star Contracts drops during Good Agent too. Still works as we said it would, but without the bug.


As for the intention, we added Good Agent so players could acquire Star Contracts for free. Prior to the addition of the Perk players could only get them from Contract Packs which cost Credits. Since Hot Streaks only cost RP, and we freely give out RP via Goals, Quick Sell, and Season a free player that saves up and competes during events with like minded people on a team can now acquire Star Contracts for free. That hasn't changed.

Also.. while good agent is active rookie contracts will not drop?? Only asking cause thats what it sounds like and I know I dropped at least 1 rookie contract during our good agent period.

Might just be me, but I would not consider grinding rc for 4 days only to grind for hours more for a chance to drop a star contract, free.

u guys regret it, so you've sabotaged it...

Not entirely true. I know people who were upset about playing for 6 hours when good agent was on and got nothing (6 hours during RTTC and play QG in RC pace). Some of those people actually spend some for getting the sc, but definitely upset about the "grinding for nothing" reality. In fact, some of those are actually walking away from the game...

Anyone remember the goals? How they made the goals timer 24h after it used to reset at a certain time? then claimed that all of us were wrong and thats how it always was. Lol that didn't last long before they realised we're not as dumb as they think they are.The mere fact that they're increasing the drop rate now shows they decreased it since they didn't anticipate them dropping that often.

I'm glad they increased the drop rate in response to outrage but it just seems they're not at all willing to reward those who keep their company and game alive.
Only 25 teams received the star contracts perk, thats 375 people out of thousands who had a chance to get star contracts. I think their argument is they want to avoid a 'rich get richer poor get poorer' situation and to avoid the legendary market being hurt by the influx of star contracts but by the same token why do you keep refusing to fix seasons and season matchmaking? As of now no matter how much I try I am unable to win a season without buying RS packs, it should be difficult yes but not impossible.

Seems to me CD should concentrate on issues that benefit them as well and not just remove anything and everything that even remotely benefits the player (without paying but even paying doesn't give a rewarding experience) I like this game and I understand they're doing their best to provide us with a quality experience, but it just seems like CD are completely against providing a rewarding experience for players and are keen to capitalise on our continued patronage. Good game, Terrible, Awful Customer relations and support.

Ok, first of all let me say I apologize for not being on the board recently. Our Studio shutdown for the end of December to give everyone on our team some much needed rest. I am not trying to dodge your questions about the Good Agent perk, just been playing catch up from being out.


As for the Good Agent perk, we checked all of the data from the last couple weeks to see what was going on. We found a bug in the drop rate code that was providing Veteran Contracts at a much higher rate than intended. Since the Good Agent swaps Star Contracts in for the Veteran slot and Veterans into the Rookie slot, the Star Contracts ended up dropping at a better rate. The bug was to the advantage of the players. You got a lot of extra Star Contracts.


On Monday we fixed the bug. Most teams had executed their Good Agent Perks already so the effect of the fix would not impact a huge number of people. However, obviously some of you got the fixed drop rates. Granted certainly not as good as what you experienced with the bug, but the Star Contracts were still dropping, which is what is promised from the Super Perk. We should have informed people of the change, but we didn't think the change would be so dramatic, absolutely our bad for not communicating it right away.


I have read through the feedback from everyone and talked it over with the team, and ~30 minutes ago we made a change to the drop rates to increase the drop rate for Veteran Contracts (and subsequently Star Contracts when Good Agent is activated). It is definitely not as good as what teams experienced on the first one, but it should not be as terrible as what some teams experienced in the last 2 days. With that said, it is random. It is a chance to receive a Star Contract not a guarantee. Some players/teams will simply be luckier than others. If you have constructive feedback on what your drops were during your Good Agent Perk duration then please post it. Keep in mind this does mean that Veteran Contracts will be harder to get now from the Draft Board. The rate you gain them in normal play will be a good example of what to expect when Good Agent is active for Star Contracts.

i appreciate you increasing the drop rates for veteran contracts from what you originally intended, but unfortunately i quick sold a lot of my (now prized) veteran contracts thinking i would obtain more at the rate vet contracts have been dropping since the app started.

that's unfortunate for me and a little unfair. once the glitch was caught, a little communication and maybe a slightly delayed fix of the "glitched" drop rate would have been greatly appreciated for those of us who got rid of them under false assumptions.

Really not surprised by Danans post in this thread. This is pretty standard and on par with the last few years and this companies pr attempts.

You're dodging the main issue. You only nerfed the drop rates during good agent. Outside of the perk the drop rates remained the same. This meant you covertly sabotaged the only good perk this game has and left the regular drop rate untouched to create a false sense of urgency to grind to even acquire the perk.

Your constant attempts to mislead your players by spreading misinformation is causing a growing effect among the player base. Each day some of the biggest grinders are contemplating quitting. It won't be long before more players come to terms with the shady business practices orchestrated by this company.

Plenty of people have already quit the game, and to be honest, a ton of the less hardcore players have too. The regulars on this board, for example, have completely changed.

But even just taking OS and the other forum as a sample size, it's unfortunately just a drop in the bucket.

Will we even ping on CDs radar?

Appreciate the response, but I think there needs to be some sort of goodwill made to those who have end up on the short end of this "bug".

You have to consider that this was THE most competitive RC so far this year, some grinded for MJ, but there are many teams put in the extra time for the SC perk mainly. On top of that, many players spent 70-105k RP on double picker with nothing to show for. Basically, the players end up be cheating of out one of the main perks for a "bug" that they have absolutely no control over.

Responding to the issue is great, but the only way to make this right for us angry customers is to allow us (teams that redeemed perk after change to rate) to reactivate the perk again under the new drop rate. Otherwise, this whole chain of event just keep building CD the image of solely looking out for its bottom line and not the satisfaction of its customers, which I don't think is the interest of any companies in the big picture. Making this right is also the first step for CD to rebuild the trust it's beginning to lose from some of its most loyal and dedicated users.

In the future, updates like this needs to be communicated BEFOREHAND, not silently and only respond when it backlashes on your company.

This is pure comedy gold lmao it's too much. This is the classic response from cash daddy in public so it's hardly surprising. Simple answer is they realised giving away star contracts was hurting their pockets so they couldn't allow it to go on. Veteran contracts have always dropped at a good rate from day one yet of course now that good agent exists they decide that was a bug isn't it convenient. And like someone else said about the daily goals did they really think we were stupid and didn't know they always reset at the same time each day? They tried to come out with nonsense saying it was 24 hours after you completed the goal so they basically lied to our faces. Obviously they realised we weren't stupid and changed it back in the end but that's just another in a long list of lies they tell us. Honestly just scrap good agent all together because it's not worth anything any more and maybe come up with some actual useful benefits to teams because right now there is no point to teams.

You do realise that the teams that activated the perk after the "fix" already played under the new drop rate.
So all it does is make you grind another 2-6 hrs for 0 star contracts all over again (and spending more RP for double picker!).
