So with slider adjustments, how well does Live turn into a realistic sim?

My favorite basketball games for their time were Inside Drive 2003 and 2004.

The past few years I've taken on 2K. I appreciate a lot of things about 2K but unfortunately the cumbersome controls and the fact that world class athletes steer like boats has become very frustrating.

I just need to play something different.

I don't care how the game plays out of the box due to the fact that I'm a slider nut. With proper slider tweaks, does this game feel like a good sim? How well do plays work? Is there any off the ball movement? Is floor spacing good enough where you can draw defenses and create open shots for others?

I'm contemplating whether or not I should open the game I just bought. Is it still a pure iso fest or do we actually run plays in this game now?
