What interactions will we see for players that uses the "real time physics"?
I'm a little swamped at the moment but I'll do my best to answer more physics questions for you tomorrow.

            I only have 2 question.

Ok on live 10 on more than a few occasions I would get called for multiple phantom fouls, like One game I played against my friend who was playing with Dallas and this guy went to the free throw line at least 25 times. In the 4th quarter I got called for 6 fouls in a row back to back it made it impossible for me to play defense it's very frustrating playing a game that wont let you defend a guy....

will the new engine fix this ?

and can lebron, kobe, dwade etc be stopped ? On live 10 all you had to do was dribble back and forth with lebron until the lane opened up and then dunk on 3 people -_-

              I hear what you're saying.

Fouls are being completely re-tuned. It's not done yet but we're trying to find a better balance. I can guarantee it won't be the same as last year.

As for the last question, the answer is definitely yes.

Nice to hear this. I wanted to know if kicked ball and over the back calls will be in the game due to this RTP?? Hope it's a yes.

It could if we lifted certain restrictions and added rim hangs to the collision system, but this is not a situation we wanted to see happen since it is not very realistic in a real game.

In addition, since we don't have flagrant fouls, we would not want the case where something like this happened just before a rim hang.

So no, it won't happen in Elite 11, but our engine is capable of making something like that happen if we were to allow for it.

I can't speak for the other people but I would love this. If the engine allows this why don't you guys just allow it. Rim hangs happen a lot and players coming under-neat you happen quite a bit, not always to that extent though. It would be really cool to have.

                      Side-Story:

I remember couple of months ago, same thing happen to when I went up. Some dumb*** came under me and knocks me to the ground while I was going up. Was scary as hell but it didn't hurt since I landed on him lol.

it's too bad, I understand the restrictions with the NBA with rules and such, but the rarity of the play would be a great thing to recreate.

Maybe have a cheat or something where the physics restrictions are lifted? /hopeful thinking

Same thing happened to me in high school. I remember it to this day.

I was going up for a layup and was undercut. I tried to brace myself on the landing with my hands and my two smallest fingers were dislocated and bent right back.

I cringed when I watched this video.

The lesson here is don't use your hands to brace your fall

Same here, I worry ever time I go up for a lay-up now. But there is always my Tony Parker teardrop I can count on.

                              Got some questions:

                              1. Is it possible to do a two-step gather and go the same direction. Not a Euro-Step but just straight? So instead of switching to the other side continue with your other step. It helps you protect the ball in the lane from getting stolen and helps you power through.

                              2. Will players be able to dunk using their off-hands? Last year players weren't able to and it lead to a lot of warping and ugly animations. Lots of players in the NBA dunk with their off-hand and strong hand. I would honestly hate to see John Wall doing only right handed dunks when he mostly dunks with his off-hand. Some others I have talked too feel the same.

                              3. Is it possible to do a step-back without picking up your dribble. Hate it when it happens, both in Live and 2K. I have a video of D-Will showing him do a step-back hesitation and then crossing over to the other side. Will this be possible?

i absolutely agree and welcome the idea of redoing the controls, because it asked for it, in past games if u press the steal button the A.I chooses which hand to use. with the new controls it seperates the upper and lower body, u can choose which hand to steal with and lets u adjust in mid air wether is switching hands to attack the rim or to lean towards the ball for rebounds or shot blocks. the fact that there is no turbo button is genius because it gives u more freedom and options attacking on offense. just having the touch sensative turbo on the stick alone can make this game better than the competition, being able to change speeds at will is incredible(think of the possibilities). by the way, live 10 had alot of signature moves, the sig shots were down to the T except for kobe's (i have to admit)i hope the devs fix his shot. live 10 had sig shots, sig fadeaways, sig moves like step backs (d.will is different from billups ect). sig lay ups and some sig dunks. it doesnt bother me for this year if is not 100% signature cause is going to be a great game but next year it cant be overlooked. i know next year EA's signature moves are going to be more flashy than the paparazzis in hollywood. I WANT TO KNOW IF THERE IS AN INVISIBLE ASSIST WALL FOR THE BOUNDARY LINES? BECAUSE IN LIVE 10 CHEESERS WOULD RUN TO THE 3 POINT WING SHOT WITHOUT ANY WORRIES OF STEPING OUT OF BOUNDS. i think it would be better if is 100% accurate and there's no assist because players have to be very careful and it would make the game play and feel more real overall.
