 We're going hard on him because there were times when he could of went and played and he didn't even try. At least Grant Hill tries when ready.

I agree Zig Zag...VC needs to be tougher. Hopefully O'Neil will run a tighter camp than Lenny did (hard to imagine he won't). However, there's a difference between critisizing his toughness and saying a guy has NO heart and that no team would want him. If you've watched VC a lot, you know that he does have a heart and that he's a really good guy. He seems a little soft at times, but overall he's a great player. While he hasn't reached his potential, he's still an elite player in this league. All I'm asking for is that people talk about him fairly. Unfortunately this thread is filled with useless hating and not much intelligent discussion.

Amen. Vince was held out of games last year not because he had no heart and didn't want to play, the doctors and coaching staff did not want a repeat scenario of the prior year when they brought him back too soon and lost him for the year.
Scurnity for his conditioning regiment is speculative. He spent last couple summer's doing rehab so he couldn't focus on conditioning, this year he is healthy and has hired a trainer to work on conditioning.
The only thing with any real substance may be his lack of defensive intensity, however; that is half the NBA. Maybe a new coach will fix that problem.

yeha ur right, it did go the distance my faukt,,, butttt he was one shot away from beating the 76ers and u cant rele blame him. If it wasnt for him the team would be nothing as we've seen the past 2 years so sorry , but VC could play and cut him some slack
