I notcied if you tap the L1 (Post up botton) while your back is to the basket, you player will trn around to face the basket. Thats only if you have the right amount of space. If the cpu is pressing real high on you, your back should be away from the basket anyway. If their leaning back off you or in a zone defense and you get to close to where your back faces the basket. Press the Post up botton and he'll turn around.

LOL, yeah, there are times when i play 6 or 7 straight games when I get off from work. It is the most addicting sports game I have ever played. And when you lose games, you feel like, man, I gotta play and win the next one. It is extremely addicting.Twitter - WTF_OS

For the most part if you play this game offensively correctly your results are reflected accordingly.
Well the CPU offense plays like their real life counter part does. But one thing I find funny is people are complaining about the animation of the player turning his back and protecting the ball probably are they same people who tap the steal button all game long not really playing Defense just basically button smashing.

My thoughts exactly. I cant put it down at times. I'll be watching tv and I'll just get strong urges to turn it back on. Its so addicting.
And the review was spot on. I agree with mostly everything you said. Although I would of rated a few things higher. But very good review.

forreals. i play until my back starts hurting. then i'll lie down and watch tapes of nba games and think to myself, "that looks exactly like a play in live." and then i'll have to play again.Comment

Re: My Live 2004 review In deprh
Compared to what I thought of last years effort I think the 7.8 is great I mean its a big jump in class. Last years 2k3 was a 7.9 to me at best and it was the best looking BBall game I had ever saw but a few things just toook away from it overall. If Live works on thier graphics next year maybe add a owners mode maybe a street ball mode it will give any game comp no matter who makes it.Comment
