anyways they also do player intros for the home team in the playoffs, and the game seems to play slightly harder especially the defensive AI. i used to score around 100 points a game in the regular season and the most i've scored in the playoffs is 92 and have yet to win by more than 10 points

Re: Live \'04: The Subtle Things...

I like how an open man on the perimeter will sometimes clap for the ball and call out for it. I was playing a game and dumped it into Z with J.R. Bremer. When I kicked it back out because of the double, Ricky Davis' man rotated over on Bremer. I didn't notice the rotation, and was about to jack a trey with Bremer but I actually HEARD Ricky call out "Over here, baby!" and saw him clapping from the pocket. Fired it over, drained the three. Too, too, TOO sweet.

Another thing that happened. I always turn double team OFF for the center and PF on both squads, (this eliminates the instantaneous double on the post players, but the CPU still doubles them if their hot...I love this game). I was playing the Heat and Z scored two times in a row. They started doubling him on the next possesion but he scored again, making it three straight. The CPU immediately called a TO and put in the taller Loren Woods to contend with Z. I thought that Grant was tired, but I checked his stamina and he was still fresh. Just too short. I don't recall ever seeing the CPU make mid-game matchup subs in a B-Ball game before....
