Slow the game down a bit, because it seems the CPU will suck you into playing the type of game it wants you to, trying to out gun it, and full of speed. Exactly, if i have anything bigger than a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter--i slow it downnn baby! Play smart and the cpu shouldn't be able to do anything--but if you start taking some bad shots--the cpu will make you pay (kinda like real basketball)

It's good 'ole EA AI, plain and simple. It runs across most of their games. Like in Madden, EA constantly inserts "randomness" into their games to make them close. I wouldn't call it comeback AI, but whatever it is it's very, very frustrating. It doesn't happen in every game, but I don't think it's a stretch to say it happens in most games. It's the reason I can't play the computer in Madden, and the reason I've felt like hurling my controller w/Live. It makes things seem pre-determined, and it sucks.

You see the same thing in Madden - and people saying the same things to defend it. "You're not playing good defense", or "You need to milk the clock w/a lead", etc. It's the AI - people need to realize that, or there are going to be plenty of controller manufacturers getting rich off our frustration

i like to lose a game as much as win.

I don't care if the CPU brings it..i like that...bring it on baby.

Call it comeback, randomness, whatever...I don't need to win all the time. Maybe some people do and don't like to lose I don't know?

But, in REAL LIFE, there is randomness to things...crazy comebacks all the time, teams in all sports go on runs and comeback.

To want a game that always allows you to keep a lead without turning up the intensity is, IMO, boring.

i agree with you, i hate winnign all the time , and when im on defense i liek trying to stop the other teams star player(s) thats the FUNNEST part.. trying to stop shaq,is a task and damn near impossible but all fun.
