Just had to put my two cents in here guys. That ESPN commercial is off the hook, you know that guy "Reg" A.K.A actor/comedian Tracy Morgan ,he reminds me of one of my no ball playing smack talking relatives who always wants a Game and I think the appeal of that commercial is that we've all seen this guy hangin' out at the playground or gym and can't get a Game or in one because... "He Got No Game".

And now that I think about it he didn't,...but hey he had jokes and would clown and talk that Smack and couldn't sink a freethrow to Save his life.

Now that guy we've all seen, heard and played with and yeah it was true he was a "No ball Playing" for sure Smack talking wanna be...but damm he had Jokes. Its a reflection of real life, and funny as hell, well you all know its true props to ESPN for keepin' it real. Way to go "Reg"!!!

Anyone who plays ball like me and this kat know what he is talking about. There is always some scrub w/ washed up old gear on acting like he got game and he doesn't. But man o man can they talk some [censored you naughty boy]. And the funny thing is that they think they actually have game. Worst player on the court but the best talker.

This is pretty funny, because when I use to ball on the regular, we would pick the guys with the new kicks and gear last. We knew that the ones with the "fresh" gear were not there to ball, they were there to showboat. Anybody that knows real gym/play ground ball knows this.
The guy with the day old Jordans would be out there throwing up bricks, call fouls everytime down the court that he missed. No game being played, just a constant argument. Then that god awful mixed tape hit, and you were sure to see the same guy trying to do those type of moves in the gym.
Now the cat that came to the court with cut off jeans and some work boots. He was dress for the job. Banging the other teams big man till he cried, grabbing rebounds, and passing to the open man. Give me the guy with old gear on any day.
Before you start speculating about why I don't play ball any more. I ruptured my achilles tendon. The doctor told me that I could not play basketball like I was 18 anymore. He said that I would have to tone it back a little. So I said, at my height if I can't play a full speed, I can't play at all. All I do now is shoot around every now and then.

That's messed up, how did you rupture it if you don't mind me asking? I know what your talking about, if someone was truely there to play they would'nt be wearing their newest stuff. I wouldn't go play basketball with some $150 jordans.

Re: Which commerical is better? Live or ESPN?

I crossed a guy over from right to left, as I was shifting gears it just popped. As i was falling to the ground I turned around to see who had thrown the 25 pound weight at my leg, because that is what it felt like. Felt like someone hit me in the leg with something really hard, but there was no one behind me.
I opted for the casts, not surgery. There is only a 2% difference in the change you will re-ruptute one from cast and surgery. Why get cut if you do not have to. And even if I would have took the surgery route, I would have still been stuck in a cast for the same amount of time.

What is really funny is that the doctor told me that I am at a greater risk of rupturing it again, than someone who has never ruptured one. If that makes sense. But the physical therapist said that the doctor was smoking something. He said that I have a greater chance of rupturing the other leg, than I do of rupturing the one that I already did.
Either way breaking people down and passing off to a big man are a thing of the past for me.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
