I am relatively new to basketball, though I owned/played Sega's NBA2K3 and Microsoft's Inside Drive 2002 over the last two years. I received NBA Live 2004 as a Christmas gift this year and have played it enough to realize that I need better set plays for my Spurs.
Nothing magically here, I realize set plays that get Tim Duncan in the low post near the net are needed. Anything that gets him close for a slumdunk with minimal play handling would be ideal. Of the default four plays, I mainly only use "post." Suggested defensive set plays would also be appreciated.
I saved/played the All-Star sliders contained in another thread here at this forum. They're great (especially the slower gamespeed), but I am not ready for them yet, at least not on All-Star
! Therefore, any pointers to the game in general for a newbie would be appreciated. I have been watching how the AI performs, but would appreciate any insight from more experienced b-ball gamers.
