Have you guys watched the player intros in this game??? SOme of the skin textures and cyber faces are incredible in the intros. Go choose the Wolves and watch their intro, they have the palyers spot on, and they even show skin marks and inperfections. Its really good. In the game, and even replays, they dont seem that good. Check it out.

Yeah Kevin Garnett has the best face in the game and he looks better in ID than he does in ESPN. ID has outstanding lighting and shading. The jerseys look a mess though. I agree the skin texturing is very good but, the faces of damn near every player are not accurate. I'm telling guys if ID had the graphics SPOT ON this series would bury the other two bball games. The gameplay is damn near perfect IMO so I don't speak on it and if High-Voltage can make these graphics spot on like Garnett is then this series would get more exposer and props for being tight as hell. I swear if ID had the graphics on point I couldn't go 5 minutes without playing it. I still play the game excessively though.Comment

I give it a 9/10. I yearn for Live's animations, but the overall gameplay is awesome. Add Live's moves/subtle animations and this franchise is untouchable.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: Come in and rate this game on a scale of 1 - 10
This game rates about an 8.6 for me right now.
The score goes up on this game the more I play it. I still wish there were more moves like Live, but Im learning when to use what and how to make players do certain things better.. Plus this game doesnt give me a headache like Live does. Its smooth as hell and plays like a real game imo. PLaycalling, Off the ball movement, CPU AI are far and away the best in this game.
Graphics are cool. They just need more official faces, animations etc.. Although there actually are quite a few good animations, various layups, dunks, behind the back passes etc..
I still want more control over what moves I do.. Control can be kind of tricky/clunky at times. But I actually figured out how to do a running hook and a few other cool things. Its still limited though. A lot of the faceup moves appear to have the exact same effect too. Plus some of these animations are just god awful. There is no triple threat, crouch position on offense etc.. The jab steps, crossover and spins are ok but thats about it.. The swinging arms crouch thing is useless and you get stuck in it half the time. If you decide to use it which I see no reason why anyone would even bother..
Franchise mode needs to be better, although I havent really gotten into it much yet.. So I really am only commenting on what Ive heard..
Xbox Live has a ton of possibilities and is pretty good as is right now. Probably the best online experience bar none of all the basketball games this year. Id like to see ID make it "Live Aware" though. The online league's are a great feature, and will most likely dominate my time playing this game if they are any good..
This is becoming the most complete basketball experience this year imo.. Ive played all 3(ID, Live, and ESPN). This is a huge upgrade over ID 2003 imo.. Im hooked on this years version. I put down last years version in about a week. Its too bad a lot of net reviewers appear to be so off on this game..Comment
