Icon is the only way to go in my opinion. Easiest way to hit the open guy.

Keep at it, you get better with time.

Doesn't ICON make it impossible to hit a man on the fly (slow you down)?

No, you just have to get use to flipping it off and on. When I'm pushing it up the break I automatically have the icon passing on. I'm always looking to pass first, and then know if I am going to get an open look.

I usually filter the ball to the point guard (best passer cuts down on intercepted passes) and dribble around the top of the key with the icon passing on looking for the open man. The icons are always assigned to a certain player, for example the black button always is the soft forward.

I hit the icon button and the corresponding persond I want to pass to in one simultaneous move. You get use to it with time, you just need to practice. It is the best way to run an offense and quickly move the ball to the open shooter.
