    Re: Free Throw attempts

To get more FTs you need to do lots of editing. It sucks but what can you do.

You need to raise the blocking rating of all the PGs, SGs and SFs to 80-85. If a player is a known shot blocker, make it 95-99. Every PF and C gets 90-99.

These edits will get you more FTs cause the blocking is more aggressive. Another thing that I recommend is lowering all PG, SG and SF short range shooting skills to a maximum of 25. This will cut down the ridiculous number of and 1's.

It's strange but I don't see 15 blocks a game by the CPU or my self. In fact, only now I seem to get enough blocks by the CPU. Although you can block too much with a high jumping guard or forward if you really try to.

Thanks Blue_Monkey! I'll try that. I've got to do something, and this sounds like it will help.

            Re: Free Throw attempts

I get way too many defensive rebounds statistically because of this and the stat bug where it counts some rebounds. That one isnt nearly as bad though. It only happens so often. Been playing quite a bit and the excess of defensive rebounds comes from t he cpu not getting to the line enough I think.

I get enough free throws for myself. And the computer gets quite a few sometimes. But there are too many of those games where they are getting less then 10. Its like they dont drive to the basket enough. Ive tried messing with jukes etc..

All my season stats are close to dead on, except for defensive rebounds which is out of whack. I have trouble getting offensive rebounds and blocks but Im the C's so that makes sense.

The stat bug is one reason. Another is that the CPU doesn't get enough off. boards. Last year too much, this year a bit too few. This is irritating, I know, but at the moment we just have to live with it. I still think stats and the gameplay they represent are a huge part of the game but I guess I just have suck it up until next year. I'm not sure if I can however and if I can't I'll just trade ID away.

THe CPU does a good job of getting boards, but that might be part of the problem. Its most likely a combination of a lot of things. IE the stat bug, the lack of FT's for the CPU, and the lack of offensive boards for the cpu. This is really the only major gripe with this game is I get way too many defensive boards. My team is by far #1 in rebounds, but Im by far dead last in offensive boards. Guys like Raef Lafrentz is averaging around 12 boards a game and they are all defensive pretty much. Its annoying but not a reason for me to stop playing I guess.. All my other stats are pretty realistic, so I guess I can live with it for now..
