Went back in and whipped Rips tail. Got to the next tournament. The titanium tournament. Have to hold Tony parker under 5 points.


Funny thing is, I can get the lead, and get the ball back, and keep shooting 3's. He'll jump everytime. Then I can keep getting the rebound, and doing the same thing until the time expires. Nice trick to win in a contest like this if you can keep the player under 5 pts.

Just remember that when any of your opponents try to do a trick move like a head pass, or when they go into that matrix mode of tricks, if you press the (A) button right at the time they start the trick move you will steal the ball from them. Also, it will be a good thing to invest in a hotspot special skill. It comes in quite handy in the latter tournaments.

As far as the Handle rating goes, I think as with all the skills they each increase as you use that skill. In other words, if you shoot more layups, then you should see significant progression in that skill each time you use it. So if you're using Juice with the Right Analog Stick to perform taunts as well as juke moves, you should see your handle rating increase a little more each time you use this.

Well the good news is that after you win the final tourney you can use those credits that you have earned to up those skills. (of course each one cost sevral thousand to increase. Some more than others) I'm now using my custom baller in the T.V tournament. I only improved certain of his skills a little.

I just got so use to playing with my baller in Rags to Riches, that it just didn't feel right going to the T.V. tourney and not using him.

No. I didn't purchase all of them, but if you use your custom baller in the T.V. tourney once you unlock him after finishing RTR, he will still earn credits to spend. I don't really want all the special skills for my current baller, but I may purchase them all for another baller at a later date.
