Is that really realistic though? Most of the time teams don't get into the double bonus at all, especially not every half.Fan of....

Re: FINAL POST-PATCH CH2K8 CPU VS CPU SLIDERS by JUKEMAN
Theres no way that each team has 20 fouls per game. It also seems like 20 fouls is not enough for both teams combined per game. I would try to find a different source for this. On either page 1 or 2 of this thread some one put up stats of their michigan vs. illinois game and michigan shot 44 ft in the game. I think that the fouls need to be toned down a bit to give more realistic stats.
Edit: the amount of fouls seem to confirm stats from an NBA game instead of a college game. Thats the only explanation I have for the 20fouls per game.Last edited by BoDontThinkSo; 12-11-2008, 02:24 AM.Comment

You are right. Its 18.65 for each team, not 20 with the teams shooting an average of 20.25 free throws per game.Theres no way that each team has 20 fouls per game. Shooting fouls probably need to be lowered.PS4 Username: grismosw7Comment

Re: FINAL POST-PATCH CH2K8 CPU VS CPU SLIDERS by JUKEMAN
Yea shooting fouls could be decreased....not only do I try to get realistic stats, I also try to keep up with the sim stats...there are too many Fouls per game and Free throw attempts in sim games..Prolly the reason for lack of rebounds....
When I had shooting fouls at 50-60, I finished the season at the bottom in fouls with 17per game and at the bottom in FTA with 20per game....now with it at 100, i'm in the middle of the pack with 22 fouls per game and averaging 30 fta..the game average in FTA is around 30...good news is my opponents get to the line only 17 times a game, maybe cuz we play zone...
How are you guys liking the changes?Last edited by Jukeman; 12-11-2008, 10:24 AM.Comment

I'm going to start posting game stats in here, once I start my new legacy I'll prolli make a thread in the dynasty forum...Here is the overview of my 2021-22 Syracuse Orange:
Syracuse ovr: 93 Pre-Season #9

Rothbart G Sr (3*) 5'11 189 72 OVR
Drake F So (3* walk-on) 6'6 207 67 OVR
LAST 7 GAMES(6-1 OVR)
vs Valpo(3-3) W 93-63
at N.Illinois(3-7) W 74-68
at La Salle(7-2) W 87-80
at W.Kentucky(1-7) W 85-75
at Florida St(8-1) L 81-86
vs East Carolina(3-1) W 88-80
at Troy(2-1) W 93-57
Next vs SMU(2-2)
The Orange are getting "Juiced" in the paint:
With the injury of Sr C Laureline(out since Valpo game) who is still listed 1-2 weeks, Jr C Danielson will have to step up and play like a starter because Maynard Lang has been getting into foul trouble for the pass couple of games limiting him to only 20 minutes...
Coach Dambrot "that four game road trip was a tuffy, going on the road without our Sr anchor in the post had teams taking advantage of us in the paint despite our 2-3 zone, this is still a young group(55 chemistry so far)"..."Lang and Tangara are not the best post players altho Lang has his moments, he is really an offensive player, Lang gets into foul trouble too often" Says Sr PG/SG Houston Bradford
The Orange played really well in their last game against Troy beating them by more than 30...Lang played great for the first time this season putting up 18 points with 8 rebounds(1 foul). Syracuse dominated the paint for the first time this season also, getting 34 PITP vs Troy's 16 the orange also had 5 blocks..." Danielson is a beast(2blks off the bench) he can easily start for us, but Dambrot likes to run small plus both Laurelin and Danielson played bad last year when put in as starters, getting into foul trouble early" says one crazed fan...Look for either one of those guys to start when Big East play starts especially if Lang continues to struggle defensively(7.5ppg 5rebs 3.5 fouls 20.3
mins)
Today Syracuse plays another Mid Major team while Duke awaits for them next week giving the Orange some more time to improve their post defense becuz big man Laurelin may not be ready for the game at Cameron... If Lang is limited then inexperienced Messy and the young brazillion Bonfim will have to step up against DukeLast edited by Jukeman; 01-02-2009, 05:33 PM.Comment

So far this was the most physical game of the year...SMU took advantage of our inexperience and attacked our 2-3 zone from inside out...The Mustangs got to the line 51 times! Led by the 6'7 215 Sr F Felton Forney who got to the line 12 times off the bench..."Forney kept driving the ball down our throat all game, if it was him getting an and1 it was him dishing it out to Fellows for 3" Dambrot says...Forney(70) is averaging 11ppg for the Mustangs this year coming off as the 6th man, he is very versitale at 6'7, can put the ball on the floor and can defend the 3 and the 4 positions....
Everyone was in foul trouble for the Orange this game, but they are so good(93OVR) they still put away the Mustangs...Team captain Houston Bradford continued to show non beleivers why he should be one of the top PG's tooken in the upcoming NBA Draft knocking down 2 key 3's while also looking Chris Paul-ish getting to the line 8 times while droppin 5 dimes...DA-Shawn Tangara showed why is was the top HSAA last year but again playin a smooth quit all-around game, he is averaging 11ppg 6rebs 2asst 1stls thru 8 games, as he continue to mature Tangara could pull a Carmello Anthony....

Re: FINAL POST-PATCH CH2K8 CPU VS CPU SLIDERS by JUKEMAN
Richmond Scouting Report:
OVR- 81
Coach- Chris Mooney(83) 242-290
Richmond plays a slow pace Princeton style offense, the Orange will have to improve their half court offense if they want to avoid an upset, as good of a team Syracuse is they are not a well oiled machine when comes to an half court offense...Bradford is their best jumper but when he's is on he is ON and we he's off he is OFF...The Orange offense is base on the transition and Richmond rarely give any buckets on the transition becuz they are so quick to get back on D after a missed shot...
Richmond's defense should give us a lil trouble with their multiple zones(1-1-3, 2-3 match up, 1-2-2) forcing the Orange to take alot of jumpers which is not are strenght, the Spiders also use a full court trap ocassionally which should result in some easy baskets for Syracuse....
Richmond's Top 8:
Barnes G Fr 6'1 176 70 OVR
Ramsdell G Jr 6'4 200 76 OVR
Joseph G Jr 6'4 209 73 OVR
Lyons F Jr 6'7 203 80 OVR
Peterman F Jr 6'8 233 80 OVR
Graves F So 6'7 207 68 OVR
Sparks F Jr 6'8 228 67 OVR
Barlow F So 6'9 226 67 OVR
The Spiders are lead by their two post player who both average about 10ppg 8rpg...Lyons the 3* recruit for NC can spot up and hit the 3 while Peterman is more of a post player altho he can hit the ocassional 3 aswhile, both are great post defenders...the Orange should have a fun time defending those back door cuts that's in the Princeton O
Syracuse will enter this game as the #4 team in the media poll....#11 in the coachesLast edited by Jukeman; 01-02-2009, 10:21 PM.Comment

Lyons- 10(4-9) 10rebs
Petermann- 11(3-9) 11rebs
Just like a top 5 team should, the Orange controlled the game's tempo from start to finish...Richmond played some tough D at times but the Spiders are not known to play skin tight D which Syracuse took advantage of...The Orange was able to play their transition offense to the fullest, instead of taking it to the hoop, guys like Bradford pulled up for the open 3 becuz of the sagging defense the spiders played...Richmond showed no mercy as they held their own while playng out of character, they even had a couple of fast break oppurtunities...Songondo was limited to only 11 minutes tonight becuz of foul trouble, he actually haven't been living up to his #2 HSAA status lately, he is shooting only 36% so far this season while averaging 9pts 2rebs 4asst 1stl thru 9 games...Songondo's offensive numbers are not impressive but he is easily the best defender on the court every game....Wallace and Parkinson combine for 13 points on 4-15 shooting but both knocked down clutch 3's down the stretch to increase our lead....
Richmond has to be proud of this game, as they proved that they can run with the best of them...The Spiders had 6 players scoring in double figures lead by freshman PG Roger Barnes who shot 4-5 from the field(3-3 from 3) he also recorded 6 asst

Re: FINAL POST-PATCH CH2K8 CPU VS CPU SLIDERS by JUKEMAN
Memphis Scouting Report:
OVR- 80(5-5)
Coach- John Calipari(97)666-289
Profile:
Box offense
Man 2 Man/2-3/1-3-1 matchup
Fullcourt Press After Basket
The Tigers run a fast pace offense and loves to attack the basket of the dribble, all 5 starters can put the ball on the floor...Memphis also likes to get out on transition where this team shines, they are a very athletic group and score alot of points on the fast break....Memphis is weak inside defensively but will play you very tight on the perimeter, expect alot of steals and contested shots but they will have trouble defending the dribble ...Memphis is not the best defensive team in Conf USA, they rarely get back on transition D and favor the fast break instead of getting Def rebounds
Tigers starting Jr F Gilson Laws(70) and back-up Fr F Darnell Kelly(66) will be out for the game against Syracuse...6th man Fr G Sidney Bronson(73) will replace Laws in the Starting lineup
Memphis Top 8
Souchu G Sr 5'11 197 81 OVR
Gogerty G Sr 6'2 186 74 OVR
Bronson G Fr 6'6 201 73 OVR
Singleton F Jr 6'6 206 73 OVR
Gomes F So 6'8 244 71 OVR
Archie G Fr 6'3 206 70 OVR
Jolly F Jr 6'8 232 69 OVR
Ingram G Fr 6'0 166 67 OVR
The Tigers are Lead by Sr scrappy G Jibrahn Souchu, he is averaging 13ppg 5rpg 5apg 2spg, he is the best on ball defender on his team and maybe in Conf USA...Souchu is not the beat jump shooter but he uses his quickness to get to the rim, at only 5'11 Souchu is a very athletic PG who should jam it on fast break opportunities which Memphis thrives on...The knock on Souchu is that he tends to take too many jumpers and not ultilize his strenght...Gogerty and Singleton combine for 23ppg and 6rpg and neither of them are great jump shooters...The Orange 2-3 zone should be very effective...Memphis is also a very young but talented team, they have a combine of 8 freshman and sophmores on the roster....Comment
