some seven or so months after you guys got it, nba 2k3 is being released on xbox on thursday in europe. and after what seems an age of reading various posts on the game, we're finally going to get to see what all the fuss has been about.
having played through a couple of nba shootouts (or total nba 94 and 95 in the uk), a whole host of lives, and the two xbox id titles, i'd like to get up and running with 2k3 as quickly as possible, so what do i need to know?
- is there a roster patch or are people having to do them manually? if the latter, where's the best place to get hold of ratings from?
- what's the deal with sliders? can they be set globally, or as i seem to recall reading, so some have to be set before each game? and which slider settings do people recommend?
- since i'll preparing to have my behind handed to me on xbox live, what do i need to know to minimise my embarrassment? what's the etiquette to getting a good game? are quarter lengths and rosters on livee set as default? (if anyone feeling like showing me up, my gt is he same as my username here)
any other general tips you feel might be of use, please let me know.
