What other power forward in history has a similar game to Duncan? His offensive game is much more similar to centers.

      In what regard?

If you ask me, his offensive game is that of a PF's. Maybe we just see the two positions differently. Honestly, the guy can play both positions and do a damn good job from either of them.

the Spurs' bread and butter over the years has been...get the ball to Duncan in the lane, if the double team comes, then he dishes it out to a 3 point shooter. That is how you usually see teams utilizing great centers.

You say Dunan hits the majority of his shots from 11-17 feet which I would think is true although I didn't go look this up. However did you check that information out against Hakeem, Ewing and Robinson as well. We call them great centers but they are far different than a guy like Shaq who dominated the inside or the guys who pass themselves off as being centers today who can only score right around the goal.

He's pretty much a center for the last like 4+ years. He guards the other teams center, he is the center on the Spurs.

Is really that difficult to call the man a PF/C? He's only really played the center position in stretches prior to this past season, usually in small-ball situations and when Robert Horry and Malik Rose were on the floor. But, last season changed all that since Matt Bonner became a starter with no other real options available. The team will continue to play him as a quasi-power forward/center, now that they've got far more flexibility/depth with personnel.

I'd like to think he's one of (if not) the greatest PF/C's of all-time. How many bigmen have been adapt at playing both front-court positions at an extremely high level ever like Duncan?

Tim Duncan is my single favorite player in the league...and yeah he is a little weird to classify.

He plays in the high post..more then your shaq type center..but is perfectly comfortable on the blocks..obviously. Defensively, he sure looks like a C to me.
