Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract

I hope and pray that Cleveland is insane enough to try it.

Im really not sure if it is possible for AI to fit in on a good team anymore.

In his mind, he's still a premier, go to guy.

He doesnt seem willing to play the part of role player, in the least.

Ive always enjoyed AI, and think he's maybe the most unique player of all time...but I think his career is going to end with him slowly slinking way into irrelevancy.

Awesome, so glad he didn't just retire and/or they didn't hold him hostage. Hope somoene goes down with an injury on a contender and he gets plugged in to a good team. I hope to hell he can shut up the doubters, but I'm not counting on it.

Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract

Im praying for AI man he needs to get his **** together seriously. He needs to come out and admit to the all the crap that he has done his whole career and start over.

The road he is going now all we will remember of AI is the complaining and whining and not wanting to come off the bench. Its a shame becuase He has arguably been the most popular player in the world since Jordan retired. Put Kobe and Lebron in that category aswell.

Get it together AI, nobody wants to see your fantastic career end this way. NOBODY.

          Damn, o_capone got banned?

Anyway, I don't think AI will ever change. I could see him becoming a Roger Clemens/Pedro type where he'll go from team to team on a half year basis.

He should have never signed with them from jump street. Why at this stage in your career would you want to go to a young team with no chance of winning a chip.

AI won't mind coming off the bench on a contender.

I agree but the thing is, dude was probably desperate as hell to sign with any team.

Even though the Detroit thing really wasn't his fault (or at least IMO), no team wanted Allen. That's why he was so quick to sign with Memphis when he knew they were nothing but a bunch of young kids hoping to get that 8th seed in the West.

It was a worthless signing anyways.

Yeah, he'll say he'll come off the bench, and then 10 games in he'll end up whining about not starting...

Pray that the team that's playing the Griz sign him.

Or if they are playing the Bucks, just say that's him. Decided to change his name.
