Fella's, I know it's a delicate topic...and I know some of you are still young...but can we drop all the "hoe" and "slut who set him up" lines please?
I am not saying he did it. I don't know.
Similarly, we don't know if he didn't do it...so lets not condemm the woman involved either. For all we know, she may have been raped...and that is as low a crime as there is. Any victim should be supported.
I know people say "athletes get set up" all the time. True.
It's also a fact that COUNTLESS athletes committ assaults, particularly against women, and get away with it...simply because of who they are and the power / money they have.
None of us know either of these people. Hey, you see KB play ball...and read the publicity, but you don't know him as a person.
All of you would have said he'd never cheat on his wife who just had a baby...but, at the very least, that's what he has done.
We don't know him, and we don't know her...so let's drop the crap.
Some of us have partners, the owner here has a daughter, so a bit of respect for women would be cool.
As I said, rape is the lowest of low crimes...cut off his nuts if he's guilty...and we don't know if he did it / if she is a victim.
Let the system decide.
BTW Sexual assault is never about sex...so drop the "Kobe could have any woman" theory. Rape is about power...completely different psyche.
