Which NBA Player Does YOUR Game Resemble?
For me:
I'm very tall, I have a good mid range game, a mediocre 3 point game, and a raw post game. I am a good rebounder, I crash the boards offensively a ton and I'm able to get easy lay ups from that. My ball handling is not good, I consider myself a good passer. Although I'm a big man, I am able to defend guards reasonably well. I'm not the best/worst athlete in the gym (but I can dunk). I block a fair amount of shots.
So I would say that I play like...Joakim Noah (pre-thumb surgery)
It was tough to chose between Noah and Gibson. I have the mid range game of Taj, but I feel like the rest of my game is closer to Noah. Before Noah's surgery though, he was hitting the 18 footers with consistency (Bulls fans should know this). I have a better three game than Noah ever did, I'm not a shooter but I can hit them. I don't play quite a ferociously as Joakim though lol.Chicago Bulls

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
I would compare myself to Landry Fields, i would like to say Paul Pierce but i dont see myself as a guy who can be a number one option
-i have above average athleticism (not insane)
-decent ball handling skills (not insane)
-A good spot up jump shooter
-Can drive to the basket
-Can't create my own JUMPSHOT
-average defender
-Pretty solid rebounder
I personally think i do everything well, but nothing amazing. I play in high school, going to varsity next year as a junior after playing Freshman and JV.Comment

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
I am an old man now, but in my "prime" I was basically a Reggie Miller type (my jumpshot looked a lot like his with my shooting hand moving toward my guide when the ball left my hand. It was ugly as ****, but I always had great rotation on the ball, and had a lot of friendly rolls.)
I also loved playing D, had some deceptively quick hands. Kind of like a Rondo without the freakish wingspan. When the player who had the ball took his eyes off me, if I could I would take the ball from his hands.Comment

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
I'm Barkley for sure. Wide shoulders and I box out like crazy and I typically shorter than my opponent and I always get boards because of boxing out and timing.
I have a pretty good 15 footer, can shoot the three occasionally but I'm pretty aggressive in the paint.Comment

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
This pretty much sums me up, except I left out a few of the things that make me nowhere near as good as I sound from what I said lol. I mean, I'm pretty good. I go to Syracuse and I've played against Mookie Jones and some of the football players and some of the other guys that tried out for the basketball team and I hold my own.Steve Nash.
I'm a deadly shooter and have pretty good handles. Very accurate passer. Although I'm not a liability on defense like he is. I'm smart enough to figure out player's strengths and just adjust my defense accordingly. If they shoot lights out, I don't let them touch the ball. If they're a slasher, I sag off
I'm only 5'9 or 5'10 and about 140 lbs, pretty much have a negative vertical jump. Up until this year, I could never really slap the backboard. I could touch it, but I couldn't get my whole hand up on the backboard, and while I've improved on that some, I still don't think I can quite make it. I struggle to get dribble penetration. I can do everything with the ball in the my hands, but for whatever reason, whether it be that my moves aren't good enough or that I'm not physical enough offensively, I struggle to get dribble penetration, although if I catch the ball on the wing and can work with my jab step, then I can get a step on my man or pull up for the jumpshot with ease. Going along with my lack of dribble penetration, I've always struggled to create my own jumpshot, although that has improved pretty dramatically since I played on a crappy intramural team where I pretty much had to dominate every game for us to not be mercy ruled.
So my pros and cons are probably like this:
Pros:
Excellent shooter (taught by the guy that trained Steve Nash, usually make around 40-50% of my 3's)
Great dribble skills (my lack of strength and aggression knocks me down to just being a good ball handler though)
Excellent passing (I've gotten to the point now where I can throw no-lookers on the money, but more importantly, I can put any pass exactly where I want it and I do a good job of reading a defender and throwing the pass where only my teammate can get it.)
Good defender (I'm pretty fast and pretty quick, and more importantly, I'm good at figuring out my opponents strengths and weaknesses and playing them accordingly)
Cons:
Struggle creating my own shot (although it's improving)
Struggle to break people down with my dribble (explained this before)
Not always aggressive on the offense end; I take what the defense gives me too much.
I'm short, skinny (although I'm stronger than I look) and can't jump.
And I don't know if this counts as a con, but I don't really look like much, so my HS coach pretty much refused to play me and never drew up plays for me at my horrible high school (meanwhile our cross-town rivals that won Sectionals in a higher division wanted me to switch to their school to start for them), and one of my AAU teams (I was like the only white kid) used to freeze me out of the offense.NFL: Bills

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
Choose any of your guys who shoot the ball well but aren't particularly involved in the offense and hustle and get garbage points off offensive rebounds and play decent, hustle defense. Not very athletic.
Basically Brian Cardinal but shorter.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
yeah, I pretty much have the passing ability of Steve Nash, the driving ability of D-Wade, the offensive arsenal of Carmelo, the shot blocking of Dwight Howard, the speed of John Wall, and the defensive prowess of Ron Artest.

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
I would compare myself to Baron Davis, just less explosive.
I have a big-body and am able to push people around, but I can also out-sprint a lot of people.
I play the game like a game of chess, I capitalize on my match-up's weaknesses and exploit them to the best of my abilities, and my main focus is defense, rebounding, and passing, because that's what wins every single time, and I actually find each of those more fun than hitting a jump-shot.
I'm only 6 foot as well, so just a little shorter than him.
My jump-shot isn't bad and keeps improving, and if I had to guess I would say I'm about a 33% three-point shooter, but from the field I'm easily above 55% most games I play in as I don't take very many shots at all, maybe 5 or 6 shots a game, but when I do take a shot or a layup I make sure it's a good one.Comment

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
I'd say my game is like Andre Iguodala
I'm a Forward/Guard for my High School team and I play like a point forward. My ball handle is decent and I make accurate passes. I'm a great defender (I normally guard the best player on the other team) I can block shots, get steals and hustle on the boards. I have a solid mid range game and can knock down threes. Only thing i'm different to Iguodala is that i'm not that athletic.DENVER NUGGETS

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
I play like Old Jason Kidd. Not very active on defense, but gets a steal every now and then. If you happen to leave me open, can drain threes all day. Passes the ball to get teammates in rythm. Is fast, yet at the same time not fast. Which means, during fast break opportunities can put on the jets..but during half court, plays methodically.Comment

Re: Which NBA player do you play most like?
Jason Kidd. I don't have much of a vertical jump but I do like to consider myself pretty fast. I don't care about how many points I have, I want every single one of my teammates to be fully involved on both sides of the court, I love to control the tempo of the entire game as a point guard, I love pressure situations, I love draining the spot up three, and I like to think I'm a good defender as I've always been assigned to guard the other team's top offensive player, I'm not very emotional but I do try to be vocal every now and then to encourage my teammates. Most of all, I just love to play the game."Champions are champions not because they do anything extraordinary but because they do the ordinary things better than anyone else."
