Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
Why exactly?? Rondo has been by far the most discussed PG around here for the past 2 to 3 years. There isn't really anything that hasn't been said about Rondo and his game that hasn't already been said and discussed.Comment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
There should be a debate on Nash still being a Tier 1 PG.
Because he is.
He's still averaging 17/11, and shooting 50/40/90. Despite having a significantly ****tier team, and a ton of turnover and instability. The guy still holds any Suns game in the palm of his hands.Comment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
Is it wrong of me to say that I would take Rondo over CP3?
My Top Point Guards
1. D Williams
2. Rondo
3. CP3
4. Rose
5. Westbrook
Yeah. In that order.Last edited by Jasong7777; 02-16-2011, 09:54 AM.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
There is no wrong since it's all based on opinion ,but I would argue Paul is in a 3 way tie for 2nd best player in the league clearly putting him ahead of all other PG's.
This season alone CP3 is coming off major knee surgury and IMO still clearly looks like the top PG.You looking at the Chair MAN!
Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.Comment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
CP3 lacks the Points he's normally put up and so far has 0 triple doubles, but it's really hard for me to argue against efficiency he has and the defense.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
My picks are
1. Deron WIlliams
2. CP3
3. Derrick Rose
4. Rajon Rondo
5. Steve Nash/Russell Westbrook
Steve Nash is still leading the team to a superior level despite having bad players. He is averaging 17/11 and is one of the best floor generals everChicago Bulls 1996

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
I'm good with Deron William. Has the whole package plus the size to do things in the post if need be. CP3/Rose a close 2nd for me.Comment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
please enlighten me on what Deron Williams does that Rose doesn't do at least as good or better?Comment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
-Williams can post up on offense and is harder to post on defense
-Can run an offense better than Rose currently
-Better court awareness and screen/roll passerComment

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
In my opinion Deron Williams and Derrick Rose just don't make as any steals like Paul and Rondo.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: 2010/11 PG Discussion
Williams is a more fundamental defender while Rose is the sniping kind. Either way, point guard is easily the toughest position to guard. Gambling for steals at the point position is actually very counterintuitive since it leaves your teammates at risk.Comment
