Would .6 even had been enough time for Amare? He wasn't even close to getting it off in time.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: 12/13-12/19 Game Discussion Thread
But don't you know.. it's the Knicks, so we don't waste our time checking the clock like we do other teams. Let that been LA with .4 left they would have been standing there for 15 minutes trying to figure out how they can put a whole second on it without it looking obvious. This isn't new, been going on for years and been going on during their winning streak DESPITE the fact the Knicks were still rattling off wins. Knicks did me proud tonight though. Definitely let the league know they are here and if you ain't ready to play be prepared to lose.
Their scoring is crazy, no doubt, but more than that , I love the fact they are LOOKING to play defense. If you catch the Knicks out there sleep it isn't like they were lolly-gagging. You just happen to catch them out there, but they WILL defend. Even though they might not be the best defensive team out there that doesn't stop them for collapsing on the ball nightly. That's worth the price of admission alone.Comment

LOL. I was just messing with you Matrix. I'm on your side bro!
Yeah, I think that .2 seconds would have been JUST enough time to get that shot off.
When is the next time these two play again anyway?Comment

Yea, I think your right.
Kind of surprised they didn't look at it, there was a timeout, so there's no reason not too.
Oh well.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Didnt the Lakers lose earlier this year b\c of a clock error....?
BTW, Dirk still sucks at celebrating after a basket.....he should humbly walk down court...lolComment

LOL something....
His moves consist of
The lower jersey pop
The tongue hang
The ginger run down court with hands in nipple pinching position
He needs to work on his celebrating in the offseason

You will be fine for the regular season. More offensive. Boozer actually defends centers better than power forwards.Comment

Glad you guys caught that .2 seconds thing in the Knicks game. I thought the same thing.
I like those kind of posts. Would have made all the difference in the world.
The two game winners I cannot believe that Manu and Pierce were allowed to drive to their strong hands. I couldn't believe it. I knew they were making the shot as soon as I saw how the defenders were playing them.....give me KG or Ray ALlen shooting the last shot. Not Pierce. Trap and rotate.Comment

Re: 12/13-12/19 Game Discussion Thread
A league spokesman for the NBA informs CBSSports.com that there was no "trigger" that occurred which would allow a review of Pierce's game winner, which meant that it stood as called. So that explains that. We'll have more on the trigger rules later.Comment

Put that squarely on D'Antoni's head. I guarantee he didn't stress that enough during the break.Glad you guys caught that .2 seconds thing in the Knicks game. I thought the same thing.
