I know it's just a rumor but the same way the Mavs raped Golden St., they'd be getting raped by making that deal. I say they should stand pat with what they have and make a deal in February.

Yeah, Jamison has so much upside. If the Mavs keep Jamison, I think they're fools for keeping him on the bench and starting Walker.

I'm not sure what Mark Cuban or the Nelsons are thinking with some of these moves.

And to textdirtbag, some would say, trading away Nick Van Exel after he saved the Mavs in every playoff series last year was a bad move. No GM is faultless.

For some reason, Nelly believes that since they can'T stop the Duncan and Shaq, so they're trying to go with the Kings approach by just having a lot of weapons. Also, they've been wanting a point forward for a while now.

The main reason Dallas traded Van Exel for Jamison was the age factor. They are trying to get younger.

Therefore, it would not make sense to me to turn around and trade Jamison for someone who is older than Van Exel.

I hated to see Nick go, but he is too good to sit on the bench forever. He was a luxury. Also, it really didnt help on the defensive end when they had to play Nash and Van Exel at the same time down the stretch. Van Exel is not getting any younger and he just had knee surgery again. his knees might be catching up to him.

Raptor fans, i really wouldnt hold your breaths on that trade. Dallas would not trade a 28 year old quality player, at a position that they need, for a quality player, but a player that is past their prime in basketball and is in their mid 30s.
