well, sometimes a team needs to make the jump from a perennial lottery team to a playoff team, like the Grizzlies. to me then it is something for the fan base to celebrate about. someone already mentioned the hawks though, it is time for them to start trading away pieces and acquiring draft picks and younger players. they are NEVER going to even sniff the finals with that roster. also, this concept to me is why the chris paul to LAL deal was so bad. the hornets were going to give up their superstar, and in return they were going to land in perennial 8th seed territory, it wouldn't have helped them to rebuild at all
