Alright i just watched the game against the Knicks where he scored 55 points and my only question is did Jordan have a problem with John Starks?

You must have only watched the NBA after Jordan retired the third time.

Yeah, Jordan and Starks used to go at it in the early 90's. Bulls/Knicks was one of the greatest rivalries in NBA history.

Didn't His Airness make every player/team his bitch? But yeah, Jordan rivaled with the Knicks and you can't forget about the Piston games.

            Re: Question about Michael Jordan

Especially because Starks was fresh out of the CBA and somehow worked his way into a gig with the Knicks, he played with an edge...like "I'm gonna do whatever it takes to do my part..." and that's how he played, so there was alot of aggressiveness to his game back then and it fit Riley's team mentality to a T. And those early '90s Bulls vs. Knicks games were not just regular games...it was personal. Fights and everything. Pippen and Xavier McDaniel would go at it. Charles Oakley and Charles Smith bumping people around. Greg Anthony running all over the place like a gnat. Ewing putting in the shots. And players like Trent Tucker and Gerald Wilkins would find ways of just getting on your nerves by hitting shots. It's like you didn't know how the Knicks were staying with the Bulls...but they were.

Jordan made it really personal because this was the second team in his career that basically tried knocking the sh*t out of him in order to stop him. What made the Knicks more of an evil bully is because it was New York...at the famous MSG...and he had Spike Lee yapping all over the place. Jordan said the Knicks taught him that he needed to work out, put more muscle on his bones. It completely ended the era of high flying Jordan. If the Pistons didn't do it all the way...the Knicks did.

You remember when MJ went up for a dunk, and 3 Knicks literally jumped on his back and held on to him, and he still went up, almost dunking it, but he layed it in, and they all fell to the floor, and he went and stood over all of them pumping his arms with his fist clutched ,cursing them out, and yelling at them like y'all can't do nothing to stop me?

Well, yes, but he made an exceptions for dunking on Patrick Ewing.
