O'Neal said after the Knicks' victory, "We remember those guys acting like they won the championship, so hopefully the guys on our team will have a long memory about the celebration."

Marbury thought it was a healthy burst of emotion and didn't take kindly to the remark.

"Jermaine O'Neal hasn't won any championships," Marbury said. "If that was Shaquille O'Neal saying it, that's one thing. He has not won one championship. He hasn't won a playoff series playing in Indiana.

Last I checked, Stephon Chumpbary hasn't won a playoff series either.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Yea, and Marbury also isn't the one trying to act all high and mighty like his team doesn't care about this game, and is just waiting for the playoffs to start.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Heres the way I see it. You win one game, before the all star break. Great. Hell, its against teh best team in the east. He happy. IS there a need to run around and act like you just won a NBA title.

I forget who said it for NY last night, but he said anything can happen in the nBA. Thats right, so why piss off a team taht has the best record in the east

BTW, the Pacers still have the best record in the series, leading 2-1.

THe Knicks have beaten one god team, good [censored] job. Celebrate when you win the game that gets you in the playoffs, but wait, to do that you would have to have class. I really shoudlnt be surprised by his actions

As for JO, I am happy he gets fire dup about this. It will just make it sweeter when the Pacers beat the Kincks in the last game, and then again in the playoffs, if the Kincks even make it far enough to meet tha Pacers

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

It was a big win for the Knicks. They celebrated. What is yours, O'Neal's, or anyone elses problem with it? It's pretty pathetic to lose a game, and then start crying about how the other team celebrated instead or worrying about playing better.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Its called CLASS. No doubt it was a big win, and you guys beat us. I will not denie that. You guys were the better team on that night.

The problem I have is the way you guys acted at the end of the game. Scream, yell, maybe its cause Im a fan of a small market team, but when Orlando beat Indy on their homecourt, they got real hyped, but as soon as the buzzer sounded, they walked off the court and treated it like it was just another game. ANd dont tell me that game didnt mean anything to Orlando. NY couldnt do that, and Im not surprised.

But like I said, look at overall record, and series record, and you can do all teh celebrationg you want know, while Its Jan/Feb.

We will see who is celebrating win the second season starts.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

First off, neither you nor I are on the teams, so don't tell me to do all the celebrating I want, or that you'll beat me in the playoffs.

2nd, there was no taunting at all. Marbury ran down the court with the ball (which was during the game, so you couldn't have had a problem with that), and a few people raised their arms in the air after a buzzer. If that bothers O'Neal that much, than maybe he should find a new job. It wasn't like they were running to midcourt, hugging each other, and smoking cigars.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

    1. I apologize. I refer to myself as being on the team, as I am a fan, and since you have the KNicks [censored] in your aviator, I figured you were a fan of the Knicks. And the KNicks fans were definetally celebrating. And How do you know I dont play for either team, I could be KVH or Reggie Miller is disguise

    2. That didnt really bother me. It was a little excessive IMO, but I am a fan of the Pacers, and hate them looking. I am not going to sit her eand argue with you, but a lot more than fist pumping went on.

I personally just find it funny that Steph feels the need to talk [censored]. I have said it a million times, it is one win in Feb, so if the Knicks didnt celebrate, why even comment on what JO said.

Either way, its over, it was fun. The last game will be fun, and if the Knicks make the playoffs, and were to face the Pacers, it will be fun knocking you out of the playoffs

If you'd finish posting the rest of Marbury's comments, then you'd see where he was coming from. He wasn't bragging, but saying they were happy they beat a good team (in his own words) especially from where the team has come from.

JO was frustrated with the loss that's all, and he said something he most likely wouldn't have said otherwise. It's not that big of a deal really.

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

May be true, but why say it. He has to throw the hatefull comments out. If it was someone who had won before, thats one thing, but this is Stephon, who hasnt taken any of his teams very fr.

As for class, I am 18, so I havent seen all of Reggies games. Do I love what he did yes, but was it classy, no.

Ny has done a lot worse. It is a b-ball game, im glad you realized that.

I still fall back on the record. The Pacers lost one game, and are still a top 3 team in the east. You beat a good team, be happy, pump your fist, and leave the court
