Should The Top 16 Teams Make It Into The NBA Playoffs?
With all due respect to the Atlanta Hawks and it's franchise (specifically Teague, Millsap, and Korver for doing it without Horford), do you think it's fair that teams with losing records enter the playoffs?
Almost every year there seems to be one or more teams with a record above .500 that doesn't make the playoffs. I don't want to seem like a know it all, but it has to be a worse and disappointing feeling to be above the .500 mark and not making the playoffs, than it is being snubbed for the all-star game. It doesn't just affect one player, but it affects players, the coaching staff, and anyone else who's involved with the franchise. With that being said, what do you think of a format that lets the top 16 teams into the playoffs -- regardless of the conference?
