    Re: It\'s over

Kobe has made in clear in the past that even when they were winning the championships, it hasn't been fun. Playing with Shaquille isn't fun, having his parents not speak to him for so long wasn't fun, being a Laker isn't fun. I think he just needs his own team to run where he can just play basketball and not worry about all the stuff that goes on with the Lakers. He did jokingly tell Dunleavy to "save that cap space" so your right, he may just stay in LA after all lol.

I like Kobe, but I don't like the Lakers and I can see why he would want to play elsewhere, it's not about winning all the time, it's about playing somewhere where your happy and your comfortable.

That's very true. But I think Kobe also realizes that in a couple of years, the Lakers will be his, and only his. GP and Karl have one more year, at the most, as Lakers. Shaq has like 3 more years on his contract. And who knows if he will even last that long.

As much as I think Kobe wants his own team right now, I think he also loves to win. And the best shot he has is with the Lakers right now. Hmmmmm. . . or maybe the Spurs if they give him enough $$$.

Well, if they get Kobe then they don't need to resign Manu. Right?
