NBA refs are a joke. Carmelo wasn't called out, despite this...

Ya, not enough evidence at all to show he was out....

Looks like the only angle that wasn't blocked.

All it takes is one view with decisive enough evidence to overturn something.

I know people probably won't want it, but NBA needs coach challenges. Ease it in at least. Obviously you can't challenge a foul(outside of Charge/blocking fouls, don't know how any others could really be so reviewable), but something like traveling and out of bounds(whether it be a guy stepping out,or the ball hitting one team last, despite ref saying otherwise) should be ones that can be challenged.

Full timeout should be the penalty for an incorrect challenge.

Cause obviously we know there are times that a guy might step out but refs don't call it, or the ball hits off someone, but refs say it's off one team when it might not be. As for traveling, obviously things like this need to be fixed up:

Challenge traveling calls, are you high? Games would mess around take like 5 hrs to complete if you let them challenge that.

Even challenging OoB calls would be ridiculous because it's not like it's been a chronic problem in the league.

It's not like teams got unlimited challenges or anything like that. Challenge and if they're right, they keep the challenge for later in the game, if they're incorrect, they lose it for rest of game.

They're not major problems or anything, but can still be gamechangers in key situations. All other pro leagues have challenges, it is just a matter of time before NBA does so too, regardless of how needed(or not needed) it might be. So might as well introduce them for fairly simple calls like out of bounds or travels, and if in the future they determine other bigger things should become challengable, then they can add it.

So, just because other leagues have coach challenges, the NBA needs to be a follower?

Eh, nah, no thanks, pass, not for something that happens once in a blue moon.

You were correct in your post with the travelling video, people wouldn't want it and you can count me on that.

So you want to give Coaches the ability to challenge something that basically happens on every single possession(Traveling)? I don't think you quite understand how silly that sounds. That'd be like allowing NFL Coaches to challenge holding calls, even though that happens on every single play.

Calm down with the overreactions, sir.

The refs totally missed the call. It still doesn't mean you tie or win the game.

You guys still had a chance to tie or win and couldn't. It was good game anyway.

First time I see it. Haven't seen video.

Did anyone on Toronto touch the ball?

Good night of basketball last night.

Cleveland is ballin'...good to see Kevin Love involved in the offense and making plays...and that Mo Williams baseline pass to LeBron is still money 5 years later, lol. The Jazz look good as well...they have a ton of young talent and really make you work on the defensive end.

The KP put backs are getting ridiculous! Some one box that dude out. Knicks are playing hard man, nice to see. I thought you could review OOB situations under 2 minutes? Sucks that the call was missed.

Hassan Whiteside was a monster again last night...looks like the early optimism was warranted.

Whiteside and Drummond are gonna be in the frontcourt for the East for All Star weekend. Both have just come out on fire and I hope they can keep it up, it's good to see guys break through like this.

Whiteside's story is just crazy though. I didn't even realise he had the highest PER of Centers in the league last year, played 48 games too.
