Let's face it, a lot of people either praise a player or bring them down after one game. Let's just hope there are a lot more subjective guys than bashers in the BBall forum this season.

I agree...If the 'Stones use the same strategy they used against the Lakers (let Yao score, funnel McGrady to the middle) the Rockets are in trouble, because there supporting cast is weak. T-Mac does have an advantage over Kobe in that matchup though...he's longer, and he shoots better from the deep perimeter. T-Mac should have less trouble with Tay's D than Kobe did.

Seems like it would be, but here is where I disagree. HOU has a more controlled system then what LA played. There is more to the team than just Yao and Mac. They have JJ who is pretty solid, and Padgett who can hit outside shots well.

I dont think JVG will let the same thing happen, and along with that he will make his team play tough D also. It would be a good matchup.

                          Too early to judge.

We will have to see how well they all gel, team chemistry is very important in the NBA, look at the Spurs and Pistons.

I really think they would of been a lot better off had they gotten Derek Fisher from free agency, but they will be ok with Lue/Ward.
