Maan...I was watching the game, and after that, I rewinded that on my DVR at least 8 times during the commercials. That was wild.

Manu is a bad a$$, that's no secret.
Pittdawg looks for any opportunity to put down the lakers, that's no secret either.
Pittdawg is more concerned with the Lakers than his supposed team, the Rockets, that's no secret either.

But I've gotta say, I was impressed with the way the Lakers battled back, it looked like they might get blown out, but in the end they were a couple of defensive rebounds away from having a shot to get really close. Let's not forget, they were playing against the team that is basically favored to win the NBA title. All in all it was a solid effort.

i watched some of the game, and you guys really need a point guard. I saw chucky atkins, and he is ok. At least he can make open shots, but he makes bad decisions, and can't guard tony parker (or at least keep him in front of him). You guys struggled defensively because they were pretty much getting into the paint at will and had so many open shots. Also caron butler and mihm will need to step it up. But to be fair i hear you guys have injuries to vlade divac, walton and vujacic. But you need players to step it up like lamar odom did. It was pretty much him and kobe most of the game.

Damn bruce bowen is pretty dirty, any time anyone shoots a jumper he always sticks his foot underneath as if to trip them.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yeah you're right, Chucky Atkins can't stay in front of Parker. I'm not trying to defend Chucky or anything, but who else has been able to stay in front of Tony?

you can't completely stop him, but at least make it a littler harder i mean he just went in there whenever he wanted to.

LOL Arent' the Rockets like 0-2 or 3? Truth be told, Manu might have done that even if Shaq was there. Remember, Shaq isn't the dominant shot blocker he could be, many times he is rooted to the floor.

I loved the effort last night, the guys battled to the end, cant wait to see how they play when the starters are all healthy enough to go. Atkins is struggling, but I agree Parker is a tough cover. As long as Atkins keeps him honest on defense and contests every shot I'm happy. What I did not like were the passes inside that weren't getting picked off. Whenever Nesterovic or Duncan caught the ball at the top of the key they would slip it inside for a quick two. That can't happen. The pass has to be deflected, picked off or defended in some manner.
