nope because of that when his shots not falling he should be doing other things to help his team win like rebounding or having more assit or playing better defense. Something else besides putting the ball through the hole

That is part of what comes with being a superstar, supreme self confidence. Every pro-bowl NFL receiver believes noone can cover them one on one, does that make them arrogant jerks? I'm sure MJ has said noone can stop him, I'm sure Dr.J made similar comments, I'm sure Lebron has, I'm sure any baller would!!

That San Antonio comment was definetly all ego on his part. I just don't see the same Kobe Bryant this year though. We all know Kobe has a big ego, but I seriously think that he is making an effort to control it this year. That whole Colorado thing must have humbled him a lot.

I'm sorry, but that's hilarious. Kobe's not humble, he will never be humble. During certain times, he'll have the pretense of humility, but you and everyone else knows he is far from being humble.

And Kdre just posted that comment Kobe made after draining a three in the Memphis game last night.


It's all ego, IMHO.



In any case, I'm not out to post about Kobe's failures and successes like jplaya here, and I AM an acknowledged *****. I don't like the guy, plain and simple, though I do respect his talent. I just am adding my two cents here.

I thought that the Jones guy did a great job defending Kobe in particular. He didn't fall for the swing through move, and didn't bite on the pump fakes either. Before yesterday's game I thought was just a leaper, but he's a good defender as well.
