Love that trade for the Nets.

I liked D-Lo's offensive game a lot and thought he had a future at the 2 spot.

So what do the Lakers plan on doing now.

        27th and 28 Picks + salary Dump.

But like cima said, and it's not just about the 70 point game, but he really had his break out moment towards the end of last season. He handles the ball well, he can pass well, can get his own shot, obviously is a deadly catch and shoot threat. He ended the last two months of last season averaging 26, 4.5, and 4.5. I think efficiency wise his shooting numbers are only going to go up as he gets more comfortable with the bigger work load or more guys to draw attention from him on his team. He may not ever hit that 50/40/90 group but I think he'll end up flirting with it when he gets closer to his prime years. Somewhat like Klay Thompson does.

His numbers this season are Klay, CJ, Beal level numbers. And the intriguing thing is he's still only 20, even younger than KP. I think what I like about his game, comparable to someone like CJ, is that he can do everything your lead guard is supposed to be able to do as well as your shooting guard. He could very well be a couple years away from being a Brandon Roy level guy, he's got that type of size and the skills to reach those levels.

It's not anything against KP, I jumped that bandwagon the second I saw him play as a rookie. He just hasn't shown that he's capable of "breaking out" yet the way Booker has. He's got loads of potential, but even by today's stretch big standards only hits his outside shots at a fairly average rate, doesn't give much defensively aside from his length getting him a few blocks, doesn't rebound well for a guy who's 7'3, long, and mobile. But he's got all the potential to be a Dirk-like dominant scoring threat with better defense. I'm still just waiting to see him show something more than "potential". He gives you flashes, but we got a borderline elite two months of consistency from Booker last season.
To extend on this, the last guy that came into the league and was playing the way Booker is now, playing either guard spot and taking games over offensively during flashes early in his career, was James Harden.

Not saying that is the level Booker will reach, but he has a great start on it so far. 20 years old now, giving you 26, 4.5, 4.5 the last two months of last season. Compare that to Harden's fist year in Houston, 26,4,5, nearly identical shooting percentages across the board too.

Pack gone pretend Lin is the star in Brooklyn

Magic's boy Byron Scott told him old boy dont like coming to practice on time or work hard.

They gave him several chances, even changed times for him to which he was still late....

He got benched what twice? Was a matter of time.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Woj says they're clearing cap space for Lebron and George.

Well whatever Laker fans are upset over this trade are being silly.

Honestly, let them be incensed. That's understandable if they really liked him. I didn't.

I personally love this trade and what it potentially leads to next. Plus I'm not a huge fan of his and if him being gone was what needed to be included to remove that awful Mozgov contact then so be it.
