Interesting how XboXCore's reviewer says "Fight Night Round 3 is by far the best boxing game I’ve played since I bought Super PunchOut on the SNES." He gives the game a 9, but how can he intimate that Super Punchout is in the same class as this game?

That's a tough one. The gameplay is the best yet, probably about a 9/10...but the rest of the game (presentation/options/etc.)? More like 0.5/10

I voted NOT PERFECT, BUT AWESOME, because of my total lack of interest in the ONE PLAYER game. I would have liked to see some between round stats, like JABS LANDED and such.

You can but you'd have to stop the game ad go to the option in order to see them. That was a big killer. I guess it's suppose to be more of a "reading" the game type of gameplay where you "know" who won the match by the type of punches and counters. I personally see a few things off the top that could be adjusted but it's great for basically being the only game.

Its still in the honeymoon stage, I doubt this game has any legs.

I have said before though that I am more into single player than multiplayer games so that is why I was disappointed.

I kind of got suckered into buying it after hearing all the glowing impressions here. Its good for about 2 days, then it just kind of gets boring. Thats the problem I have though; I always want to get the new game out, and usually wait to hear impressions, then go buy it or not buy it. I had told myself I wouldnt buy it and wait for ch2k6, but anticipation got the best of me.

Not sure how you can make a boxing game that lasts though, besides Punch Out of course.

See, I think the game is boring also but online is where this game differs. Instead of playing the CPU, play online and test your skill.

I dont wanna go online just yet until Im done with my Champ in Career mode....cheezy but true.

BLASPHEMY! Punch out ruled. It was challenging and had great set of characters. I will never forget the day I beat Tyson for the first time; i was watching the 1987 dunk contest and i finally knocked him out. I still pick it up from time to time and play, its just that much fun.

I dont like playing online games unless its racing or co-op team games, like GR or R6. I get tired of all the cheesers and cheaters.

FN3 is not bad online, but I will admit I like hanging out in the minor league of Standard Unranked matches (approximate record 50-5) as opposed to the ranked matches (18-16). The matches are easier, I get to play relaxed games with a couple of friends, and you get the occasional a$$h0l* who crys during the bout or quits early-very sastifying.
