    What level?

Sorry if this has been posted but I was wondering what level you guys are playing on. I'm currently playing on Normal but was thinking about going to hard. I just didn't know if Fight Night was like every other EA game where, when you put it on the hardest level, it just made the CPU have juiced up ratings (which takes away the purpose of the game, in my opinion). For example, in Madden when you play on All-Madden slow linemen defensive ends will catch players like Vick and McNabb from behind. The CPU doesn't play smarter, it just boosts ratings. That's why, on every game I play, I always play on the second highest level, it usually produces the most realistic and fun results for me.

If any of you guys are playing on hard and can tell me the difference between hard and normal, I'd appreciate it.

    ...Easy...

Only because I haven't gotten serious with the game. Might bump it up after an exhibition or two on Normal.

The AI plays very realistic on hard. The only issue I have is that you can't play 2 minute rounds or accelerated clock in career mode. This means that you are playing 3 real minute rounds and the punch stats get too high. Its like playing madden on 15 minute quarters with no accelerated clock. The stats get out of hand. Damn shame because the rest of the game is pretty good.

I'm currently on normal and find it pretty challenging thus far. I could walk through '04 on hard but I'm struggling on normal in RN2. It's gets a helluva lot more difficult once you make it up to the top 15. I'm still on my 1st year career and as of now my record stands at 25-6 25KO's and I don't think I lost more than 10 boughts, total, through-out all my careers in '04. Perhaps I just suck at this years.

                Re: What level?

Playing my third career. My first two were on medium, I retired my first guy after going ~24-4 (10-0 amateur) and my second after going 40-0 (10-0 am).

So far I am 1-0 (10-0 am) on hard. I do expect it to get harder once I get into the higher ranks on hard but once I figured out parrying (something I never did on FN 04) this game just became ridiculously easy for me. The amateur championship match the guy at least went the distance and won two rounds on two scorecards even though I knocked him down 3 times so it may be a little more challenging.

I was hoping online would prove to be the challenge but I find the laggy controls unbearable. Far and away my worst experience ever on xbox live.
