Only played a few fights today, but enjoying the game so far. I read that the career isn’t very deep, but haven’t checked it out yet.
The boxer creator is pretty good and like all the attributes available. I’d normally not complain about something like the hair and facial hair options, but for a game that looks so good, it’s sorely lacking content in these regards.

Re: Undisputed Deluxe WBC Edition Launches Today - Post Your Impressions
Not sure how many, but I'm hoping for atleast 100 slots, I kept checking to see if anything wasup uploaded, but I'm guessing since the game isn't out world wide release until the 11th, maybe they held the server back until thenI played 3 fights tonight. I have had early access and played on and off, but really have not touched the game since July. During most of early access I was left unimpressed with the game. It just did not do a good job in many areas.
I will give the developers a lot of credit, they improved most aspects of the actual boxing gameplay. Punches finally have speed and snap, stamina seems to be in a good place, and fighters have more distinct styles than they had during early access. I am impressed with what they have done.
I will also mention that I play pretty much all offline against the AI.
I still need to have some more fights to really test some things, but again, overall I am impressed and happy with the gameplay.
That being said, the fact that there is no clinching is a big deal. No clinching and real fighting from in the clinch needs to be present in the game. I hope they get that figured out and added soon.
One big area for me, that I have not looked at yet, is the boxer creation. I know the system is supposed to be deep, but it is not something I have messed with yet.
With that, does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of boxers you can save?I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.

Not sure about how many boxers you can save at the moment. I’ll add that most of my time will also be career mode offline. Online has been great so far however, I’m at 3-6. My losses are coming from my penchant to use under dogs I’m figuring, while most everyone else is using high rated boxers like Crawford , sugar ray , etc.
Same boat as you. I've been using boxers that are 85 and below. In the 4 fights I've had, 2 were against Terence Crawford, 1 against Sugar Ray Robinson, and 1 against Canelo 11'. I would love to fight against different guys and wish there was a setting for minimum and maximum OVERALL preference in an online fight."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

My expectations were very low, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Commentary and presentation is barebones but I skip most of the prefight stuff anyway. Still, It would be nice if they read the cards.
Things get a little wonky at times but the punches feel good. I like how they captured certain guys styles.
I'm 13(11)-6-0 in unranked online matches and I've been happy to see a nice variety of fighters in every division. Not much cheese/spam either(so far). I'm sure that will change if I play ranked, but I see no reason to.Comment

I had a weird thing happen in an online match. I picked Terrance Crawford and he picked Arturo Gatti. I’m handling my business and he poses no challenge. I had him stunned twice within the first two rounds. He stunned me once on a flash, but I was never hurt. 3rd round comes and he hits me with a couple of weak punches that went through my guard. My block meter was high, so it wasn’t even that. Anyways, I go down from those two punches, and it’s a flash knockout. Bud has never even been down, let alone knocked out. I was pissed!Comment

One thing I'm loving about the game so far, I've yet to play anybody who's quit, or anybody who is spamming. It's probably because the game hasn't shipped worldwide yet and most of the people playing on console right now are hardcore boxing fans. I also like the fact that even if you pick a lesser fighter, if you box smart and he patient, you can stay in the fight. But, if you get carless, it could be goodnight for you. Loving online play right now."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: Undisputed Deluxe WBC Edition Launches Today - Post Your Impressions
The 30s-40s era looks to be very overextending a lot of times to the body and is very hesitant in most movements.*
*
They don't fight from range much; they leave themselves open a lot.
*
*
They use mostly counters when up close; the lateral movement is very basic; they don't seem to be able to punch from range while doing it smoothly; they have to stop then punch most of the time, and their feet are mostly tiptoeing.
*
This way of fighting was how they fought back then. I only see some of this outdated way of fighting in Louis/Rock in the game, and they were able to use advances from the 70s-90s. Their fighting was way too smooth and fast for their era, which isn't how they fought.*
*
I understand they can't have every single movement, but more of this old era of fighting would be way more realistic for me to see in the game. It would be very cool to see.
5.Today I played with Usky for the first time as a switch stance hitter. I only can switch stances when I stand still. It would be very cool to switch while punching like he actually does. His punches aren't as fast as they should be. This guy is very unique and one of my favourite hw styles in history.*
6. Bruno was known to have a dangerous hard jab to keep the person at bay and could ko them; his jab can't ko people.*Last edited by James Rodriguez; 10-10-2024, 04:26 PM.Comment

Re: Undisputed Deluxe WBC Edition Launches Today - Post Your Impressions
1.Frazier fights in the same pattern up and down head movement, throwing 1 or 2 punches; repeat; Joe's punch angles are wide hooks, straight jabs, a duck, and back to repeating the coming forward up and down head movement.
2.In the game, he also isn't fighting like that; he is using a crossarm defense instead of his simple up-and-down bob. I don't know. If this is fixed In the full version, or those other things missing, I said, also Frazier is missing his leaping hook; he threw that a lot.
3.And I wonder if weight will come into play. It's no way if I'm bruno/bowe hitting smaller lhw like Patterson or Rock, I should need to hit them lots of times just to ko them or to put them in danger.
4.Morrison was known to use lateral movement to come in and out quick. It feels as if he is too heavy to do that smoothly. I also can't hit combos fast with him as fast as he should.Last edited by James Rodriguez; 10-10-2024, 04:12 PM.Comment

This right here. I'm 57 and I'm also really enjoying this game for what it is, I'm pretty much exclusively an offline player, & I'm really enjoying career mode and also creating dream matchups going up against the AI, I'm also very thankful to have a boxing game.Comment

My biggest gripe right now is punch tracking. Its HORRENDOUS.
If you ever thought to yourself "that punch looked like it landed"...It probably did...

Been playing the PC version for a while. The roster is still lacking. No Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, etc. I still don't like how fast the CPU can move backwards when they are hurt.Comment

Really enjoying the game. I’m having a hard time figuring out why my stamina burns faster than the cpu? Other than that it’s been a fun experience in the 2 short days that I’ve played.
