Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Hmm, the third stage came so fast I didn't even notice it lol. I made a mistake there. I'm pretty sure Pure armbar is still 3 thoughComment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
i was having great day, day off, watching the 100 on Netflix, playing some Fallout 4, eating great food, but THEN i decided "oh let s get daily on UFC2" great idea, so again seems this game just keep hating me or it s just broken by design, so when i got 100sub, 5* subs, perks for subs, almost full stamina and opponent 0stamina and 55 defense, his sub def gates fly with speed of light, but when i got 57 def and he got 57 sub skill with no perks etc. my gates just wont move, i mean sounds fair, thank u EA for runing my day again, yeah sub system is awesome and chaining subs or HARDEST subs in real life having 2gates in this game, it s really making senseComment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Was the defensive exploit of mashing for the green gate fixed? I think I heard it was.Comment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Your the game changer... You should know this... Do you play UFC 2 still?
And yes it was fixed a long time ago during one of the many patches this game got.Comment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
My biggest issue is way too may lead to the arm bar. They do feel super fast, but more times than not I'm the one doing the submitting.
Those subs switching to the arm bar could be 100% realistic, I have no idea. Some variety might be nice.
I love the sub switches that don't go to arm barComment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Ya there are just to many arm bars in this game. I also do love the green sub switch but like dave said there needs to be more variety or just give guys more basic standard subs. Pretty much a standard move most every fighter should have is the arm triangle from half guard. I would like to just see more basic subs with basic animations and enough of these crazy sub switches. There cool but only for certain fighters. My biggest issue is way too may lead to the arm bar. They do feel super fast, but more times than not I'm the one doing the submitting.

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
ya that's what I'm saying. They need to worry about fundamentals and basic subs before going all showtime for UFC 3.Comment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Yeah. I was almost sure. I was just confirming. It looked like the info wasn't on thread, yet, so I wanted to bring it up. And to be honest, I completely forgot what was the fix it.
And no. I no longer play the game. I base my feedback for UFC 2 largely on the info I take from other players, especially other game changers. I played the game quite a bit after the launch, though; so I do have some hands on experience. I had also quit EA UFC 1 relatively early.Comment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Also Kimura from full guard bottom. It's a basic mma defensive move that most guys use and should have on this game. Basic subs in basic position is the key.Comment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Well almost everyone has a guilotine 2 gate reversal from dominant sprawl when the opponent tries to get up into an over-under clinch.
Hell even Mike Tyson has that reversal. I think there is no fighter who doesn't have this reversal in the game, only UT fighters dont have it.Comment

Re: The biggest issue with the Submission switch mechanic
Everyone has it, it's default. Even fighters who have no guillotine from sprawl. I found that out with Moroz, who only has a Japanese necktie. You do need to have a kneebar to get the kneebar from half guard reversal thoughWell almost everyone has a guilotine 2 gate reversal from dominant sprawl when the opponent tries to get up into an over-under clinch.
