Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
I don't want to know what's new in EA UFC 3... I want to know what's the same as UFC 2?
What can I practice in UFC 2 that will still have practical application in UFC 3?
Is that safe to say? You're not disclosing any new information...Testing.... Testing....

It's the punches you don't see coming that knock you out. I think it's safe to say that UFC3 is going to knock everyone out, cause trust me, you guys won't see this coming for a mile.
The amount of risk-taking here in terms of the design blew me away. Without saying too much, we aren't seeing incremental baby-step safe tippy-toe Madden-esque iterative yearly design here. GameplayDev and the crew are looking to make UFC 3 a T2 Judgement day kind of sequel to UFC2.

If this game uses move or anything like that I'm gonna be sad. It's the punches you don't see coming that knock you out. I think it's safe to say that UFC3 is going to knock everyone out, cause trust me, you guys won't see this coming for a mile.

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
This joke is for Solid_Altair (and all the future FBI agents trolling this thread).
Why did the chicken cross the road?
He didn't because his movement recovery frames prevented him from doing so.
But he was free to block because his defensive recovery frames had already ended.
Ask me again in four frames and he should be able to slip.
Very good one and a great tease.
I'm toasting to that with a delicious stout Canadian beer, right now.

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
Great read, and really excited for this game now thanks to the different Gamechangers feedback !
Couple of quick and fairly broad questions in order to respect your NDA :
- did the ground and clinch game evolve, compared to the current game ? Does it feel better ?
- is fighter uniqueness more present / prevalent for now ?

Nope. We technically aren't allowed to disclose any information. New or old.

The Madden comparison is a great one.

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
When approximately will be a new info about the game - what is changed what is not changed (and so we could train it now)?
I understand about NDA reasons but the only thing we are heard about that this is "a brand new game"... new in what aspects (striking, moving, grappling, graphics, fps, etc)?...Comment

I really hope we are able to adjust fighters (like Anderson silva) move sets and stances like in fight night champion.

Sounding almost like it will work with Kinect and Move for some reason.
That really would be killer if they could do that. Actually make a game you could workout with and have fun. I'd buy that. These forums are the closest I come to a console or PC anymore.

Re: UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?
Those are so dead haha. I think the majority of the consoles sold don't even have any of those attached to it anymore. THQ did that btw, it was called UFC Trainer and it sucked.Sounding almost like it will work with Kinect and Move for some reason.

Nice tease. I guess striking got a big overhaul then. Guess we'll hear about it eventually, back to waiting we go.Comment
