Buffing features that already exist but have been forgotten about

There are a lot of features in this game that simply aren't used but should be. Watching Martial's last video got me thinking about it.

    1. Single Collar Whip:
    * Include an elbow, it doesn't necessarily have to break.

    2. Muay Thai Whip
    * Increase damage on strikes after a whip (similar to how you have less ability to defend after being whipped due to regaining your balance)

    3. Decrease the overunder deniability against the cage. This should fall somewhere in line with the takedowns against the cage, with a shorter range. This is an incredibly common position but its very easy to deny.

    4. Allow for increased GA for special clinch . If you avoid strikes or stun an opponent, let it be significantly easier to get an over-under or Muay Thai Whip or double unders. Maybe if someone is pressuring you hard you can gain increased GA similar to normal clinch.

    5. (less forgotten about but relevant imo) Change button mapping of the push. I'm okay personally with making it L3 (it even simulates pushing something). I dont think L3 has a use currently. The current inputs are a bit awkward. Having to do a block+leadhook in the middle of being heavily pressure makes me throw a lot of knees by accident.

I would love if they allowed you to assign your own keys like in FIFA.

      - Fix lead elbow. It connects inconsistently has terrible range, and is generally bad.

      - Beef up speed of the teep and require less stamina drain on whiff.

      - Decrease stamina drain for missing spinning body kicks (miss one now and you have almost 0 stamina).

      - Get rid of stamina drain for checking a front side leg kick.

      - Make the push distance fixed and do not allow it to stack with the pushed player's movements. The fact that person who got pushed can hold backward on the stick and have it stack means that pushing people sometimes pushes them out of range of follow-up attacks that would connect if the other person didn't push back on the stick.

      - Increase fluidity of switch-stance during and after combos.

Love it. Can't believe it never occurred to the devs over this many patches that it shouldn't be that hard to initiate over under against the cage. Thai clinch against the cage is much easier than over under, so go figure. You're literally just pinning your opponent to the cage with your body, if they're that close to the cage it should be VERY hard to deny in my opinion.

Yes! Someone should be able to clinch up with you easier if you constantly pressure them.

          1) Has anyone noticed you can deny takedowns and clinch by denying down? You shouldn't be able to do this and you should have to make a choice, deny clinch or the takedown. This stops people predenying both takedowns and clinch, and will encourage them to respond reactively.

I agree, the whip is mostly useless because it just drains your stamina without a real reward. In UFC 1, you had to time the block, it you just kept it pressed, the knee would hit you.

                - Buff speed of ground and pound from full guard, posture up.
                - Buff block breaking power on back side control.
                - REMOVE AUTO RUNNING!!!!!

Yeah, it gives you a second chance. Say you block up but he goes for a takedown. If you block down fast enough, it will deffend it.

been saying this for months now

also just so I don’t gotta post twice. I think auto run when the opponent is rocked should be removed

I never use it because I figured they would have patched it out by now.
